I sold mine for $150.00 at a pawn shop in the mall. Let's just say the diamond was of super shitty quality so it was only natural my ex-h would buy it!
I sold mine through a local jeweler/broker. I shopped around and got a couple of offers from different places (3 jewelry stores & an independent diamond broker recommended by a jeweler). In the end, where I sold it offered me about $600 more than the other places because FI were buying my new ring from her.

I sold my wedding bands for $75 and bought myself an outfit with the money. I still have the engagement ring. It's a unique cut that the jeweler no longer carries, and although they had our paperwork showing that the ring was worth a lot, they only offered me $1k for it. I decided to hold on to it for now.
I used a local store as well. I ended up trading my engagement ring for a pair of diamond earrings because the trade value was almost 1k higher than the cash value and I wanted earrings. I kept my band.
I sold mine on Craigslist. I think I had it posted for a couple of months, but I got something like $1100 for it and I think the original price was only around $2700 so that was actually pretty good.
I wasn't in a rush to sell it, which helped. I turned down offers that were lower than what I wanted to sell it for.

Sold mine on Craigslist for about half of what was paid originally. I had the paperwork, we met at the jewelry chain it was purchased from. They verified that the ring matched the paperwork and even said if dude wanted to trade in/upgrade he would get the full purchase value. I got $1000 in cash and was pretty happy with the whole process.

I sold it to a diamond broker. It was a local business. It did list it on CL, but didn't expect it to sell there. We spent 13k on the ring, and the broker bought it for $5500. It was hard to let go. I adored that ring. I spent months planning the custom upgrade.
Oh, and I think I probably got like 30% of the "value". We sold my 1.25 carat platinum solitaire, platinum band, and FI's ex's .75 carat white gold solitaire - all for around $4700.
I need to talk to my cousin who owns a jewelry store about mine. My rings probably weren't over $1500, so I won't get much for them, but maybe I can have the diamonds made into a necklace or something. I don't have any sentimental attachment to them or anything.

I sold my engagement ring to a jeweler for about 25% of what was initially paid. They didn't want my wedding band and the best offer I had on it was something like $25. I don't know what I want to do with it, so it's just sitting in my jewelry box. I kind of want to throw it into the river that divides the two places we lived together, but then I feel guilty at the idea of littering, lol.
