I recently bought 2 Maxi Dresses from Target - Merona brand. they're sleeveless so I wear a light short sleeve cardi over it but man are they comfy! And I'm able to pull the top down to pump. I also wear a lot of basic t's from ON or "the shirt" from Express - i have several colors of both. I have a couple maxi skirts too but haven't worn them yet.
One downside is our office got super strict about what shoes you can wear. We used to be able to wear this style:
because it has a back to it but now they ruled out all flip flop/thong style. So now I'm wearing a ton of wedges. I hate the Toms look and not a fan of ballet flats but might have to buy some just for work so I don't always have to be in heels.
for real though, I just ordered NINE of those Lands End dresses during the sale last weekend and I'm hoping they work because that seems like such an easy work outfit.

Skinny jeans + Payless flats + portofino shirt with a tank under usually once a week (the day when we're closed to the public, unless I have an important meeting that day). With a long necklace or sparkly stud earrings.
Land's end faux wrap dress in a bright color. Donna Morgan print jersey shift dress (I have this pattern but a different color). Express Columnist pants with this top.
I wear a dress and cardigan almost everyday either with heels or flats. I have a few from Boden, a couple older ones from Loft & Banana Republic, a pointe sheath from ON (last years) and the LE fit & flare in purple (love it). Easy & comfy!
Add me to the list of skinny ankle pants and flowy blouses/shells (when not pg).
I also almost exclusively wear dresses in the summer. Loft is my go to. They have some nice fit and flare dresses. My uniform is a dress and a Jackie j crew cardigan when it's hot. I'll start wearing pants again in October.

Soulmates!
I'm loving being able to wear dresses again now that I'm done pumping. If I must wear pants, I do ankle length in summer with a flowly top and cardi.

Same-
I also wear my ankle pants with a cardigan to mix stuff up. :-)
SJ, what kind of blazers do you put on top of your dresses? This is something I want to pull off, but never seem to be able to. I have suit blazers but they are too... suity? (I am usually team pippa with the Jackie cardigan.)

I have a few that are softer & less structured that I think look nice over dresses. I will try to find some pictures for you!
A pair of flowy elastic waist black pants from Loft. Seriously, the fact that these elastic waist pants are socially acceptable work attire made my summer lol.

I've been wearing the LE F&F dress but had no idea. I saw it linked on Corporette Moms as a good nursing dress last summer and bought several. Who knew. I'm still in with the cool kids.
If i'm not wearing that I'm wearing ankle pants and a shirt. Boring but simple.
I alternate between dresses (I'm more of a shift dress kind of girl than a fit and flare) and skinny pants and a flowy blouse. Basically anything that hides my gut.
