Previously that was because Sony owned the Spider-Man franchise and Marvel/Disney had everyone else -- that's what kept Spider-Man out of the MCU. Now, though, I'm not sure what the hang-up is, because apparently they reached a deal for crossovers.
But, I totally KWYM. I was looking for this Tumblr post I saw and can't find it, but it basically said, "If I have to see Uncle Ben one more time I'll kill that motherf*cker myself."

Haha I get why they keep rebooting Spider-man I just don't get why they keep having to redo the origin story. There are so many comic story lines we don't need to see Uncle Ben die again and again.

That kid looks like a middle schooler and not a cool one, more like the boy your mom likes for you. I do not want to see him in a tight outfit. I'm not a creep.
