You guys are the best! I have had so many posts on Facebook on the dangers of sunscreen or worst sunscreen to use. I figure something is better than nothing and don't speak directly on face or face area.
I use Think Baby per the EWG, but honestly I'm getting sick of it. It takes so long to apply! I already gave up on it for myself and went to Banana Boat spray, I'm thinking of doing the same for DS.
I use Alba Very Emollient Spray for day to day park trips and such. It's not actually a spray but it's very easy to rub in...it only takes me about 30 secs to get her arms and legs done. I'm sure it has omg chemicals though.
We just got back from a beach weekend and I had some of the super thick zinc Badger kind and holy hell was that a pain in the ass to deal with.
I use coppertone water babies. Sunscreen that I can actually apply, easily, is key for me. With two wiggly girls who generally make a giant fuss about putting it on, ease of use = it actually gets used.
I'm in the "something's better than nothing" boat. We've got kind of a variety at home right now-CVS and Neutrogena sprays, Coppertone Water Babies in AJ's backpack at the sitter's, a couple tubes of Honest Company sunscreen when I found it at Costco, and some Sun Bum stick and spray. The Sun Bum stuff is on the pricey side but I like how it smells...the fact that it's on the EWG good list is purely coincidence.

The only thing I care about with sunscreens is that they're not sprays. The coverage is splotchy, to the point that my DH got a very bad burn on his back last year at the beach after using a spray sunscreen (and re-applying). I asked my derm about it after and she was very vocal about not using spray sunscreen, and told me never to use them for my kids.
I don't give a crap about "ingredients" and agree with pp that it's just woo.

DS will not sit still long enough for me to apply lotion sunscreen to his whole body. So, I spray him with the Neutrogena I use on myself, and put Neutrogena Baby lotion on his face.

Ugh, we started off with the green beaver one and it was a total pita to apply. I forgot it when we went to stay with the inlaws a few weeks ago so I bought an Aveeno baby one that is still a physical blocker but so much easier to apply! I'm so over the green beaver one.
