I only caught this week's episode. JB does look great. I was less than impressed by the show, but like the premise. I guess there's no need to go back and watch what I missed?

The only benefit of the first episode is that it sets up her relationship with the Steve Jobs dude, and you learn about her personal background. However, none of this is complicated stuff so you can probably skip it. FWIW, though, I thought the first episode was a bit better than the second. I'm giving this one more episode and then will quit if it doesn't improve.
