I had a small subchorionic hematoma at 6.5 weeks last time. It resolved itsef within 2 weeks. They said it's pretty common. Try to take it easy this weekend.
So for those of you who have gotten to know me these past years know I went in. I measured exactly 6 weeks. There was no heart beat yet. I'm not too worried about that. They did see a subchronic hematoma. I'm worried about that because last time I had one I did end up miscarrying. I've read tons of positive stories about those though, so I'm trying to not be too worried. I have a follow up ultrasound on Monday.
This sounds like great news to me. The SCH probably explains the bleeding. I hope you get to see the heartbeat on monday. i'll be thinking about you. (anecdote - I had an SCH with my son and bled a few times in the first tri, but it all worked out fine in the end.)
I had an SCH very early on with my first pregnancy and bled for 4 more weeks? For DS2 I had a large SCH but that did not occur until 13 weeks and I was on Lovenox and bled till almost 22 weeks.

I'm glad you have a reason for the bleeding, but I know it sucks too. I have the same thing going on and it's so stressful going to the bathroom each time and looking for blood. I've read a ton of positive outcome stories though, it really seems like it won't affect anything.
