I am sorry, I think at this point most ultrasounds are going to be inconclusive, meaning I think all they could see is the sac, so I am not sure it would provide much comfort.
I know it's hard, but I'd hydrate like crazy and keep my feet up as much as possible this weekend and wait. This early you could possibly see a sac but it might be 'empty' which doesn't mean much.
I think HCG is a better indicator of development than weeks at this point so I would do it. With my last m/c they were able to tell pretty early it didn't look right. Hugs, I know how stressful spotting can be!!
I declined both five week ultrasounds in my pregnancies (one because I was out of town and the second because I didn't want to stress). Joke was on me because both boys measured 3 days behind anyway at their 6 week ultrasounds. Anyway really early ultrasounds are more trouble than good in my opinion. I'd wait. Fingers crossed for you.
I did one that early with my first pregnancy. Even though there was no heartbeat yet, it was still reassuring to see everything measuring as expected. maybe i was young and naive back then, I don't know. Spotting early doesn't have to mean miscarriage. I spotted with my son. good luck.

I would because I always worry about ectopic. Plus it's not going to hurt you. Just be prepared for no heartbeat. Your levels are really good so you could see a heartbeat today.
I spotted with all 4 pregnancies (2 kids and 2 miscarriages). I had 5w6d or 6w ultrasound with all 4.
I'd probably try to wait a few days since you are right on the border of being able to see a HB, and not seeing one (or having it be way slow) always makes me so anxious.
Hugs, I would try and wait to be honest. Can you go in for a progesterone check though? Aren't you on lovenox? Shouldn't that stop spotting anyway? (I don't know much about it though)
I would go for the u/s. You may not see a heartbeat but you could. If you don't go, you definitely won't see it. I don't see a downside, but know others are more patient than me.
I would want to but I would try to wait. My last pregnancy my betas were well over 10,000 at 6 weeks and we weren't sure we even saw a fetal pole at that point and I really wished I had waited a few more days to go in. I hope the spotting is nothing. Good luck.

Your friendly ultrasound technologist chiming in. I personally would wait until at least Monday. If you do decide to go though, at least you're aware there's a good chance they will not see a baby or hb yet. Many people don't know that. Good luck, I hope everything is ok.
I'm glad your measurements are on track! I know thay sch's can cause spotting, so hopefully nothing to worry about too much there. Sending good vibes your way.
Fingers crossed that you see a heartbeat on Monday!
Anecdotal, but I had bright red bleeding at 5w1d with C. I'd had three previous m/c, so I was sure I was losing the baby. But sure enough, my betas never dropped and there was a perfect heartbeat at 6w1d, and the rest of my pregnancy was relatively uneventful.
