DH has Friday off instead of tomorrow, and we're thinking of having a beach day. I'll pack something for snacks/lunch, but I'm kind of hoping we spend long enough there to justify getting some beach junk food for dinner so we don't have to come home and cook.

We are glamping up at DH's family cabin. His uncle always makes the BEST food on the 4th of July. The have a huge DIY'd griddle and bbq grill in their backyard. So breakfast is always eggs, bacon and toast made on the griddle. And dinner is usually tri-tip, some pasta salad, green salad, etc.
I think we're doing grilled steak with peppers and mushrooms and twice baked. Or with a green salad and breadsticks.
If not that grilled shrimp with mac and cheese.
I also have brats in the freezer and a package of chicken breasts.
It depends on whose here and what H's work schedule looks like. Steak if he's around, either the brats or chicken if I have to feed 12 other people too.
Pulled pork (DH and his friend will spend all day smoking it), black bean burgers for the vegetarians/non-pork eaters, crockpot mac and cheese, baked beans, arugula and watermelon salad. Not sure what else.
We're having a grill out/potluck tomorrow for DH's department at work . I have 13 lbs of filets, plus hot dogs and veggie burgers in the fridge lol. I'm also providing roasted brussel sprouts and asparagus as our contribution. I'm lazy so I also picked up a $15 tray of rwb cupcakes from Sam's. If they're not devoured, we'll take them to my inlaws this weekend.
