I taught spin at 5:30 this morning, and I'm going back to the gym to teach at four.
I stopped for coffee on the way home, and began working around the house cleaning, and now it's many hours later and I'm still in my workout clothes from this morning and have zero desire to shower.
Am I am monster? Fwiw, I wiped myself off with a clean washcloth, and I am looking forward to taking the most amazing shower (and having a shower beer!) after round 2.
Also, will I have to sleep on the porch in Charleston by admitting this?
Ha! I'll join you on the porch since I apparently have a snoring problem. My H is a heavy sleeper I guess.
The max is probably an hour or so. I don't do doubles a lot, but I usually have a double two times a week and take a shower twice. I don't like the idea of going to the gym stinky already. I usually wear deodorant when I'm going for a run or to the gym.
It depends how sweaty I am. If I only do a few miles I will wear my clothes for the rest of the morning, but after 8-10 I'll change my shirt at the very least. I usually bring an additional shirt with me when I do my long runs and change before I head home.
It depends on how gross I am. In Dubai I usually completely sweat through everything I am wearing, so I have to change and either shower or at least jump in the pool or ocean. When I don't get as sweaty, I sometimes wait a lot longer to shower. I won't shame you.

This is exactly what I was going to say. I just can't (at least not right now) run outside and not shower/change. I'm dripping.
With that said, for a spin class (I know it's hard work & sweaty, but not on the same sweat level) I could definitely do what you did.
I take off running clothes right away, but have gone grocery shopping after spin and strength classes. I'm sure there has been a few days where we get busy and it ends up being half the day.
I don't hang out for too long unless its a race with beer after Only because I get sweat pimples if I don't (ick). But its often just a quick rinse and leave my hair sweaty until my next workout. Also work from home - yeah for slacking on personal hygiene!!
This sounds so familiar! On Thursday's I teach from 9:30-10:30am, put on some Neutrogena body spray stuff that helps with skin irritations after working out, then I clean the studio, walk home, pick up my house, then shower (if I don't have errands to run).
So, I stay in mine for 4 hours sometimes. If they are drenched, I will change, but not shower right away.

Ooo, this! After I run, I'm dripping and am stripping to get in the shower as I'm walking through the door, even during cooler times of the year.
Spin class is sweaty, but I'm more apt to finish every dirty chore around the house before showering. What on earth is the difference? The ac in the gym followed by the ac in the car?
It depends how sweaty- and even then, once I dry out it depends how bad/if I stink. If I'm starving after a run I've made food while still being sweaty and it grosses DH out. If you're fine with it, then I don't think it's an issue.
Cycling shorts...get.out.of.immediately! (or within 15 minutes or so). I won't walk around in them other than maybe doing something like watering the flowers on the front porch, etc.
on Saturdays I run in the early morning. Sometimes I don't change until babyniq starts naptime around 12:30 or 1.
I get to work, I don't always change out of my workout clothes right away -- I'll check email and do other stuff. This is probably flameworthy in a lot of offices, but ... hooray, West Coast tech sector!
In the warmer months? I strip in the garage after my runs as I'm too drippy to walk in the house. Straight to shower. Foam roll and stretch while the shower warms up.
Yoga clothes usually within the hour or change there and do errands after. Running clothes in winter? Stretch, foam roll, eat then shower and change

If I'm not dripping sweat....I might hang too long. I've actually been known to grab coffee with friends post run and chat for a long time. We try to sit outside away from everyone.
