I've been so busy

Since June, DH and I packed up an entire household, moved to a new state, lived with my brother, and finally bought a new house. And I've been job hunting in my spare time.

So, what have you all been up to this summer? Anything fun, boring, the usual?

Reading for my challenge. As usual. Just got back from an awesome Bermuda cruise. It's been a good summer, all in all!

How do you like the new digs?

The new place is essentially a step down in life, so that's an adjustment. But we'll be able to buy a better place in a year or so, and then rent this place out at a profit. I love the fireplace tile and our master bedroom and closet our huge, so it's not all sucky.

Wow, you've been busy!

We bought our house in at the end of April, spent May pulling up carpet and painting, and moved in June. Other than that, it's been a quiet, uneventful summer. We've had a spate of car repairs the last few months and $$ is tight right now, so we did a staycation this year and it was actually lovely.
