Weekend Plans

This week seemed to soar by very quickly for me and I can't really believe it's time for the weekend. What will you be up to this weekend?

It was a strange week, but i guess it did go pretty quickly...

tonight will be a regular night at home.
Saturday is TBD. I'll find something fun to do with the girls. Sprout will be home doing chores w/ DW since he was a holy f-ing terror at his family camp night last night and threw a temper tantrum worthy of a 2 year old.
Sunday we were supposed to meet up with a friend and take the kids for their first trip to NYC (Sprout has been asking to go for-ev-er), but I'm not sure if we'll go. I hate to cancel on our friend and it kills me that he gets to "ruin" our fun plans, but his behavior has been atrotious and i'm not sure I have the patience to get through what will definitely be a long day.

Saturday - Errands, house work, etc.

Sunday - K and I are going to a concert. :-)

CT - what is in the water? Last night Carter literally threw himself on the floor in hysterics. WTF?

tonight L is picking up the kids from camp and I am going to meet them for dinner somewhere.

Saturday - L will be heading out in the AM to go write for the weekend. I have nothing planned. It is supposed to be beautiful out (low 80s!) so something outside. In the evening I am dropping the kids off at Parents Night Out and L and I are going to do something - not yet determined.

Sunday - the boys godfather is coming over in the morning to hang out and then Perhaps I will order a pizza for dinner. The kids have been asking to have a pizza picnic in the living room. If it rains, I might take them to see a movie.

I am supposed to take the kids to our nieces birthday party by myself but don't feel like it, I'm going to try to skip it.

It is my working weekend... but we have some other stuff to do as well

Tomorrow Annie has a birthday party for her best friend. They have to dress up as princesses and there is going to be a princess at the party so she should be in heaven.

Sunday we need to work on the lawn and the shrubs in front of the house. I wish I could so it when Scoop is at work, but my snake fear keeps me from being able to do lawn stuff when it is just me home. The last thing Annie needs is Mommy to be having a complete panic attack with just her home.

Tomorrow we're going to a new and expecting twin parents brunch. Chilling for the rest of the day - I'll probably work on job stuff and maybe we'll try to catch up on some DVR.

Sunday we're having brunch with friends. No other plans.

My sister and nephews are coming down to visit us. Tomorrow we're hoping to go to the shore and maybe a sprinkler place, but of course the forecast is for upper 70's and thunderstorms. Not sure what we'll do if it rains...it's hard to entertain 3 year olds inside without many toys and a not-so-child-proofed home. But no matter what we'll have fun seeing them. Sunday they have to head back pretty early, so I'm not sure what we'll do with the rest of the day. Something outside I hope, because it's hitting me that summer is going to end soon!

Tonight E's paternal grandparents are picking her up from school so they can have a visit. I'm running a bunch of errands and hopefully getting some chores done before they drop her off. It's fucking HOT as hell here...I know you all deal with the heat a lot and I shouldn't whine but the heat just wears me out. And yes, I like that I can use that word here.

Tomorrow cleaning, chores and organizing around the house with E. Our neighbors with 2 daughters (the oldest is E's new bff) are having a dinner birthday party for their youngest. I'm taking E to that and then I think she's going to have her first official sleepover (3 doors down the street which will work well in the event she wants to bail, though I doubt it). Later in the evening A is coming over and she'll stay through Sunday.

Sunday we're having a small housewarming party in the afternoon. A very sweetly offered to come help me with any last minute prep, so I took her up on it. I'm hoping E won't come home from her sleepover totally wiped since most of our guests are my friends, but thankfully a small group. A will be meeting some of my nearest and dearest friends for the first time at the party. I'm excited but just a little nervous too. After the party I'm sure we'll find some way to wind down the evening and relax...maybe pizza and a movie on the couch with E!

We went to an amusement park today with my wife's BFF and her daughter while the boy hung out with his grandparents. Tomorrow I'm not sure, but I'll be running at some point, I know that. I've only got two more days including tomorrow until I officially finish C25K! Maybe we'll do some fishing, maybe go to the county fair.

Sunday is a send off for my wife's goddaughter, she's leaving for school on Monday in another state and it's a surprise party that we just found out about (and I think she just planned). We were actually going to head home tomorrow for a GTG but that got canceled so we extended our stay to be here for the party. Plus the boy will have some extra time hanging out with his grandparents and that's always good.
