I had a great first date last night.  Like the best one in 2 years and probably on par with the first date with my XH (which was my best ever first date)

its 11:00.  He just left.

I booked a boudoir shoot and got the package that includes an 11x14 canvas because I want one for my bedroom. I would like to think my bf will be getting the album, but honestly this shoot is totally for me. I had a surgery 4 years ago that was botched, and I think this will help me to feel more confidant and sexy:)

DH left to go his parents for the weekend and I am so relieved. First, because he's gone. Second, I didn't have to go with him!

I just feel so much better when he isn't around. It's like I can breathe.

I'm leaving the country on Sunday, so I won't have to see him until almost August

I have come to the conclusion that I will never have a holiday without the kids for a long, long time. Unless I make prior arrangements or stbx has a change in his work schedule. I'm strangely okay with this. The kids and I have done all our errands so now we can bum around the rest of the weekend.

cuddlyevil I'm a bit jealous, my kids are with their dad almost every holiday weekend so we don't get to go away and do fun things.

I plan on spending a ridiculous amount of money on my White House dress. It's once in a lifetime and I give zero fucks if I can really afford it or not

Have you considered Rent the Runway? 

Naaaa I want to keep it. Plus my body is so weird I'd need to rent like 20 things. Nails are done!

Aw, the only reason I have them is because of their Dad's work schedule. He works every holiday so they're like any other day. It can be fun, but I will be ready for a break on Monday.

I wish parents that have young children would leave group activities that everyone paid to enjoy if their child acts up and/or is distracting the entire group. I had to ask a parent to leave group today that her child continually disrupted and she acted like this was the biggest insult ever (the group thanked me after she left). Anytime we have to ask someone to leave we offer a refund or an option to try again later when the child calms down.

Instead of the ice cream I really want, I blended some strawberries with coconut rum and a splash of vanilla almond milk.

Today was expensive and it hit us at a shit time right before vacation. Between J and I, we spent $1500 on repairs for both of our cars.. I'm irrationally annoyed about it.

I'm sorry @blueyes623! It's so frustrating to feel like you're getting ahead and then BAM! car expenses! It seems like car always need repairs and/or maintenance at the worst times!

I'm being bitchy and reporting every post in my local FB groups that have fireworks for sale. They are illegal in my county and stupid assholes can't seem to grasp that concept. They are illegal for a damn good reason...our county is highly flammable and all it takes is one jackass to start a brush fire. We can't even have sparklers!
