Monday comes too quickly after the weekend! Work is just....work. It's cut out to be a crazy day, but we are off to a slow start. I really didn't want to get out of bed to come here. I need a break from this place as it is quite stressful lately. I think I'm going to take a week off in August to just chill.
Monday.............I got this! Well maybe. Got a shit ton of things I would like to get done today. My long weekend lasted a good long time. I would like a repeat.
I need a vacation day to recover from my vacation. Miami was a blast, but also expensive and exhausting. We got to play with a lemur and tiger on Thur, went to the gun range and a winery friday, a club friday night, and the beach all day Sat. It's been a long time since I have been out in that kind of environment with another single friend. We didn't get home Friday night until 4am and didn't go home alone. I am beyond sore, I guess dancing in the club for 3 hours straight is a more intense workout than even boot camp because my legs, hurt so bad. We used airbnb which I had never done before and it was a pretty good experience, we got a place on south beach for around 100 a night when most hotels in that area go for 200-400 a night. I am so happy to be home and will probably crash again tonight.
Mondays are always blah. This Saturday I am taking a test that, if I pass, will net me a significant raise. I am pretty confidant that I will pass just fine, but I want it done already. I need a raise.
I started Weight Watchers 2 weeks ago and I am down 5 lbs so far. It seems so minimal, but it is good none the less. Especially considering I have only made very minor adjustments to my eating. It's good to see that there can be positive movement without starving or cutting out all my favorite foods.
TR-man, I think sometimes, there is no real closure, just time. It sucks. I'm sorry.
I fucking hate Mondays. I almost quit my job Thursday. I am just so tired of my boss being an ass. If I had ANY prospects lined up, I would have.
I set up a client meeting for tomorrow at 9 am. Then I realized the person lives in Miami (my-am-uh), Oklahoma which is a 3.5 hour drive from my home (3 from work), meaning I have to LEAVE my house at 5:30am. Ugh.
I am really bummed that the weekend is over. And I just realized that I don't have another long weekend until Labor Day, which really sucks.. I got twice as much vacation time at my old job, and I hoarded it and used it all in the summer, so working a full week in warm weather is foreign to me right now. This is most definitely a first-world problem.

Ahem. Did you just think you could drop that and run? (devil) And I LOVE AirBnB so much.
I had never done a one night stand before, so it was fun to scratch that off the list and I lucked out because the sex was pretty good too. I am definitely a fan of airbnb now and will likely use that instead of hotels in a lot of situations now.
