DD's birthday party is this weekend and we haven't even decided on food yet.
H is convinced we should serve wraps. Fine. I don't really care except that we can't really find anywhere near here that will make wraps for us - except Market Basket. Do you think Market Basket's quality is okay for their deli sandwiches/wraps? In addition to really wanting wraps, H is pushing back on MB because he thinks they "will be gross".
Also someone please give me the patience I need to get through this week with him. He is the worst party planner ever - lots of very specific ideas, very little help in actually executing them.
Do you have Hannaford's or Roche Bros near you? Or maybe Lamberts or a small deli defending where you are. Market Basket may let you specify meat brands. While I shop at MB I've never gotten deli meat there. Our YMCA gets party subs from Walmart and they aren't bad at all.
DH is the same, except he would be telling me these grand ideas on Friday.
Never gotten it from MB but we got platters from Stop and Shop and they were good! I'm pretty sure one of them was wraps. Although it was a few years ago. I also know a good place that caters out of Reading called Green Tomatoes if that is close to you. I had lunch there and the food was really good!
I have had them before. They were fine, my only complaint was they all had things like cheese, pickles etc...so for someone who doesn't like those items I ended up picking them off and the bread was slightly flavored by them. But you can choose what you have them put on them, and mostly likely your guests aren't as picky as me
We have also had platters from panara for work functions that were good, just another option. They also had large salads etc to go with it.
