Do you have scar tissue issues at all? I don't notice them regularly, but especially after being in a weird position (like sitting or standing for long periods, or sleeping weird), or heavy activity (moving this week), I feel like my range of motion isn't right, and I'm extra sore.
Has anyone tried massage or other techniques to release adhesions? My doula said something about Maya massage, but I haven't found anyone in the area that does it.
The only issue I have is that my internal scar is where it should be but my external scar is really, really low and looKS weird.
I think that has more to do with having carried twins and having a VBAC with them rather than a repeat section which I presume would have lined it all back up right again.
Eta: oh, and every so often I do feel weird pulls or twinges. It's been 3 years and I still get them.

I have some scar tissue, never had anyone massage it (no one near me does Maya massage either). I just take some coconut oil and massage it on my stomach/scar area a couple times a week. You can't see my scar at all and I think it is helping with the adhesion. I am prone to scar tissue (I had scar tissue adhere my intestines to my abdominal wall from my frequent crohns attacks), so I started this right away! Good luck, I still get the occasional pang of "ouch" that wasn't right, but nothing near as bad as it used to be.

I've had 2 c/s, and no issues with scar tissue so far. You can barely see the incision. Hopefully, I'll have the same luck the 3rd time.
Depending on how severe the pain is, I'd follow-up with your doctor to investigate what type of adhesions you might have. Better to catch that early on.
I know there's a line of adhesions - the surgeon for my gall bladder surgery said he could see them, adhering to part of my intestines, I think? He said he could cut it, but that it would grow back, so he left it alone.
My first scar was perfect. Straight and tiny. My second c section they cut into the first scar, but it healed super crooked and it's a lot bigger now. I still wear a bikini and you can't see it.
I actually have some pain my c-section scar every once and a while. The pain isn't anything that is so distracting or disabling that I'm worried about it, but more like "oh there's this achy feeling right there that feels like it's could be from my c-section scar". Half my scar is flat and the color of the rest of my stomach, and the other half is a little more raised and brown. I had a really fast, emergency c-section so who knows if this had something to do w/ it. I guess it's adhesions under there, but I don't really think it's annoying enough to do anything about it.
Now, my belly button on the other hand...ugh. Totally wrecked and pops out all the time and gets noticeably achy and very distracting.

Mine is very low, way below my bikini line, it's become red and a little thicker as it healed and sometimes there some slight discomfort (ds kicked me the other day and it hurt) and a pulling sensation sometimeS (I'm hoping that will get better, I'm only 4 months PP. It feels weird to touch, DH knows to stay away from it during sexy time
Numbness from my first scar but I haven't felt anything from this time. Nothing from this one. It's like she fixed the issues from before. You can barely see it.
Nope, I have had no issues. I don't even remember it is there and it so small I can hardly see it. My Dr. was the most socially awkward person but an amazing surgeon.
