lizlemon19 post got me thinking about my situation...
My employer announced a few months ago that they will be selling a large part of its operation. I applied for a role at the end of June with one of our divisions that is staying and learned this week that I received the position and will be starting next week. Last week, I also learned that my current role would be eliminated by the fall. By taking the role I am essentially doing a job transfer, benefits and time of service carry over. I am also 12 weeks pregnant as of this week and am awaiting my NT results.
I was planning on waiting a few weeks to tell my new supervisor of the pregnancy, do you think this is the right course? I want to have time to prove myself. Our benefits provide 12 weeks paid for maternity leave which I plan to take.
