This is an ongoing problem. Sorry for those with 1.5 yr olds waking at the crack of dawn. It doesn't seem to get any better. She is 3.5 and she wakes up at 6am or earlier (today) at least 4 days a week. She is currently going to camp every morning for 3 hours and then has one hour of swimming lessons every day. She is tired. She goes to bed at around 8pm. Bedtime starts at 730-745 and ends at 8/815. Do I make bedtime later? Earlier? Make her run in circles for an hour every night to tire her our even more? This morning she woke up and I was on my way out the door to work and my poor 14 hour day husband took over. So we never so this but I got the iPad so he could sleep. Today she said 'nope. Read my book'. This is because yesterday I said I know 3 is hard but I still love it. Teach me a lesson. 3 sucks.

Does she have a toddler clock? Can you make mornings boring for her? No TV, no iPad, no playing with her. You can just have coffee and let her play by herself.
If you ever figure it out let me know. My daughter has been waking up between 6-7 all summer. She used to sleep until 8 so this 6 am business is not okay.
We've played around with bedtime some but it doesn't really matter. She is still up early. Keeping her up later made it a million times worse. We've temporarily moved bedtime back to 7/7:15. It's freaking hard but atleast she is getting enough sleep this way.
No amount of activity makes her sleep in. It's baffling.
Same problem here but kids share a room and they get up between 5 and 530am. Dh has stopped setting an alarm for work. It's awful. No help. I'd love to try the toddler alarm clock, but that won't help my 1yo. We do move bedtime back because she needs more sleep. Typically around 7 is our goal. If mama can't have quiet in the morning in getting it at night.
