Thursday randoms

I learned that apparently a certain wine reacts with my system when it comes to sleep like I've had several liquor drinks...I sleep hard for 3 hours and then am up and cannot sleep. I got mildly tipsy at best during my date last night and this sucks that I can't sleep after so little wine! I've been up since 2:14am. But, it's not so bad because I had a really fun, pleasant first date. He totally wined and dined me and is such a gentleman. We also made out for a bit by our cars, which was awesome.

I should go workout since I'm up, but I feel lazy from my lack of sleep. I am starving, so I may go ahead and make breakfast and then head over to the gym. Today is going to be a long one due to my lack of sleep.

ETA: Had to edit the title, lol, due to it saying the wrong day...today is going to be fun! :/

Yay glitzyglow that sounds like an exciting first date!

I just ended a 6 month dietbet and I won $271.46, this was my first 6 month one and I am shocked at the payout. I lost 22lbs and even after I join another 6 month one I will have almost $150 profit to spend on something for myself!

I was able to register for classes when I was at Orientation on Tuesday, but the one class I absolutely HAVE to take this semester is full. I'm on the waitlist, but wondering if I can just show up on the first day and try and get in. If I can't take this class this semester, it's going to royally screw me up for the next 3 semesters!

I'm getting excited (and still nervous) to be going back, a lot has changed since I was last in school.

Today is my last day of work!! I go back on the 15th but hey its a few days off!!! I am getting super excited, my sisters wedding is this Saturday and my parents/family will be meeting the BF for the first time. Nervous and excited at the same time.

I've been in DC a week and I kind of love it! It's super fast paced, but awesome. I could never move away felt my family in Oregon, but I plan to visit a lot. Also I get way hotter men liking me on tinder. I think maybe I am a total mismatch for the Oregon dating scene.

You know, I wonder if it's just guys in the PNW. Shortly after I moved up here, I met a guy and we dated 3-4 months. After him, NOTHING for 3 years, when DH and I got back together. And I mean nothing....no date, no winks or nudges (or whatever) on websites, not even someone asking me for my phone number. And I was in the Navy! Guys for miles! When I was single in San Diego, it was the complete opposite.
Makes no sense.

That's awesome, congrats! When I did the dietbet my payout was a measly $31!

A facebook friend posted a picture of her new necklace from her H. Awww, right? It's made out of her preserved breast milk and placenta flecks from her two kids...

Last night I spent the night at my new place. Mstbx wasn't able to, which was super frustrating to him (and me) but he was fairly good about communicating through it.

It takes a lot of time to get settled! I need to get some work done today -- the class I'm teaching starts sooooon!

Can I shamelessly ask for a favor from my favorite people....

One of my job responsibilities has been to manage our Facebook page, and while I have been able to grow it steadily, it hasn't been as fast as I would like. Next week, I should be meeting with management and would like some really pretty "like" numbers to show. So can I ask for some sympathy likes? I only post once a business day, and it is usually silly stuff, sometimes an insurance article...all I ask is for you to like it for the next two weeks-ish

Ummm....eeeewww. And I work in medicine and don't get grossed out by much when it comes to bodily fluids. That's gag worthy.

I officially passed color in beauty school! I can ombré, balayage, foil, lighten, retouch, highlight, lowlight, you name it. Boom.
I'm worried about custody and court so I just hired an attorney...

Anyway, in other randoms news, my new boss texted me and said that Tuesday we are having lunch with the Chamber of Commerce with the next city over. OMG, I feel so much like a grown-up in my new job and I love it!

I did it! I ran (and walked) 3.26 miles! I ran the last 8 minutes at a 10 min/mile pace too! I don't know what fuel I'm running on, but I did it! And now, now I'm ready to shower and go to bed. Zzzzzzzzz
