I loved it, but it grabbed me from the very beginning. Maybe put it down and try again at a different time? (Or give up, if you really don't like it. I won't be offended. )
I also loved it but didn't have many issues getting wrapped up in it. I loved the images and descriptions and pretty much everything. I don't remember it being too long - maybe give it a little longer?

I really liked it, and was interested to see where it was going. I was interested in it from the beginning, but did feel like it got better/more absorbing as it went along. Ditto the PP who said to think about leaving it and coming back to it, since you may enjoy it more at a different time.

I liked it pretty well, even though I listened to an audiobook with the tracks somehow out of order. I found the descriptions and concepts interesting and wish I had heard everything in the right order!
I just gave up on this book this weekend. I was about half way through as well. I found it really slow. The description of the book sounded really interesting but I just couldn't get into it.

I wanted to like it, but she was just floating around with the plot for the first 2/3rds of the book doing absolutely nothing with it. I only pushed through because the last 1/3rd was what seemed like it was going to be interesting and while it was, the good parts were just not long enough.
Honestly, had she shortened the whole middle of the book and spent more time in the jungle it could have been a really great book. Though the names would have still annoyed me. Apparently, she sold character names in the book, which is odd and was rather obnoxious in the way she listed the whole name of a few of the characters every time she said their names
