A few friends with long, fabulous, bouncy, shiny hair do this and it looks great. But you need long, fabulous, bouncy, shiny hair to do it.

Mine is straight across. I know of a couple of people with this, but it's much more subtle. More like these:

I like the last two ninja posted, the more subtle ones. I wonder if I could get away with this (the answer would be a hard NO if I need to look like snips' pictures, lol). I'm in dire need of a cut!

I had a deep V with mid back length hair in 2011. I went to this super hipster hairdresser guy and I didn't like it on me.

I have always loved this.

I also had a hairdresser refuse, saying it was a stripper cut. She used to work next to a strip club and all the women requested this cut because it accentuates your lower back.

I don't care, I love it anyway.

I don't like the first version, but I think the more subtle versions can look nice.

Also, honestly, if your hair is that long, it's waaayyyy less heavy w the V cut than the straight across.
