What's everyone doing for the weekend?

Tomorrow my pledge sister is coming down to spend the day and we're going on a duck tour and walking the seaport area. Sunday will be low key, maybe some shopping. And then I'm on vacation next week! It's more of a staycation but at least I'm not coming into work

Surprise! DH has an event this weekend. Tonight DD and I are doing our Friday night Panera dinner.

Tomorrow I'm getting my passport photo retaken (grr), then I think we'll do lunch and some shopping at Whole Foods since we'll be in Dedham anyway. We may try to sneak in a farmer's market or 2 somewhere in there.

Sunday DH has DD duty as I flit all over town. I have a hair appointment in the morning, then I'm singing for a choir member's baby's baptism in the afternoon.

J and I are taking an impromptu trip to Montreal! We are currently taking a small break from driving at a coffee shop in Montpelier, VT. It's such an adorable town! We plan on stopping in Burlington, VT for lunch and then driving straight from there to Montreal. We reserved an apartment through Airbnb, which I'm excited about since it's my first time using the site.

I love Montreal, enjoy!! We usually stop in Burlington for lunch, too. The drive from there to Montreal is always so surreal, it feels more like Kansas than Canada.

Any recommendations for lunch in Burlington?

T has been in Houston all week and comes home tonight. We are going to a BBQ tomorrow and have dinner reservations at Bogie's Place tomorrow night to celebrate our seven year anniversary!

We usually stop at one of the restaurants on Lake Champlain, more for the atmosphere than the food. vtdiamond lived in Burlington for a long time, she probably has some recommendations!

Aww, have fun in Burlington les, I miss it up there!  Our favorite restaurant is Leunigs which is a french restaurant which is on Church Street.  We also like The Farmhouse which is just off Church st.

I lived in Burlington for 6 months during college. It's a really nice area in the summer!

I'm going to Canobie Lake Park tomorrow. Our friends have free tickets and we're joining them. I've never been, but I was told not to have high expectations, lol.

Happy anniversary, caligirl22! And have a great trip, les. I haven't been to Montreal since college; I suspect you'll have a very different experience 

scm1011 how did the bday party go, btw? Hope it went off without a hitch!

I'm getting a haircut tomorrow, (cheating on my hairdresser, but I'm desperate and she's on vacation til Monday). Not sure about the rest of the weekend - we may try to hit up brunch at Kirkland on Sunday, but it's going to depend on how Captain Crankypants is doing. He's been on 11 this whole week; I hope he shakes it soon because my husband and I are at the end of our rope.
