I'm taking DDs on my run tonight. They hang back with one of the run leaders who usually brings her dog and walks. The woman who used to watch them after school on my Mondays is a runner too so she's coming and is also bringing her DDs (they're the same age as mine). I'm going to let it be a surprise. They'll love it!

I have a lot of things bouncing around in my head today. Sometimes being single is hard bc I don't have anyone to talk through decisions with. Like house stuff or money decisions or whatever.

I've been eyeing 3 different bags for a while and I think I'm going to finally buy one. In the last week I've come into completely unexpected funds (from three different sources) so I think that's a sign to buy one. Anyone here to weigh in on their favorite?

Ah, I adopted a dog last weekend! It's the first time I've been responsible for a dog. I'm not gonna lie, I freaked out a bit Friday night/ Saturday thinking that I just got way in over my head, which I know is silly. He's a 4-ish year old weenie mix. He loves to go out on the leash and go for rides in the car. He doesn't pay any attention to my cat (who would really prefer to never share a space with another animal- but she'll be fine with this guy). He doesn't even beg for food! He tried eating the cat's food a couple of times, but I just told him no and now he doesn't bother it. You guys, he has an underbite and his tongue sticks out a lot of the time. He is SO STINKIN CUTE! I'm in love. He actually makes me wish I'd have adopted a dog sooner.

Now if only I can get him to poop outside.

You should know this.." or some other crappy remark. Ugh. I'm dreading work tomorrow.

What? Why is your manager antagonizing you? You don't have anything to do with his ineptitude. Asshole.

July is a really slow month for so many things. I think people go OOT, are out of their routine, etc..

Well I'm browsing reviews and lists on google since GilliC has me planning a place to eat and drink at when we meet up in two weeks. haha. I think I have some ideas now. But I have to say boozy drinks are so expensive in the city. I never get to drink down there since I usually drive home. haha

I worked on my resume today. Sat outside with my cat for two hours and enjoyed the shade together. Tomorrow I'm taking my car in for an oil change and will go see a movie too.
