Hello Everybody!!

I literally spent 6 hours yesterday on the phone with the airlines trying to A) track down my missing luggage or B) getting a claim reference number so I can file for compensation. They are impossible! Hopefully I won't have to spend too much time on that today because I do actually have work that needs to get done.

I did decide that if they send a check for the value of my missing luggage and contents that I am going save the money and put it towards my vacation for next year. I absolutely loved Contiki and would go with them again in a heartbeat!

I am really trying to embrace my naturally curly/wavy hair and start saving my hair from heat styling 5-7 days a week.

pantsoffdanceoff I see they have one to Greece and I would totally be down for that, just saying. lol

I do this out of laziness. Much faster to get out of the shower, curl scrunch my hair, and add product than to blow dry and style. Sometimes I think it looks adorable. Sometimes it just looks messy. The trick (for me) is to towel dry by flipping my head upside down and scrunching my hair up with the towel rather than rub my hair dry with the towel. Does that make sense?

I applied for different jobs yesterday. After I closed my door and cried in my office, I was all, "fuck this." Hopefully I get something.

So annoyed with Hotwire. 48 minute wait time to speak to someone. Really?!

I really don't love either of the remaining guys on the bachelorette. I also feel like the show must not be doing very well budget wise. Normally they travel the world and this time they've been to Ireland and Utah. I think people are just over it.

I found out from my attorney that xh didn't complete the parenting class the judge ordered. I'm hoping this will help us out immensely in court.

I'm home with DDs today. My mom fell and sprained her ankle and has to be off it until Thursday. My stepdad can't help today since he works tonight and needs to sleep during the day. Of course it's crappy out so I think I'll take them to the movies to see Inside Out.

I LOVE today bc it's DD's bday - how she's managed to survive to 6 is beyond me lol

But

I also HATE today bc it's DD's bday and a trigger day for Xh - I don't like being hyper aware of my surroundings and have an itchy 911 trigger finger in the off chance he decides to do something stupid - like violate 2 court orders bc he thinks he should get a free pass bc it's DD's bday *grrr*

I have my appt Thursday to start my divorce. I'm so nervous and anxious. I feel all the emotions today. But, he's done some awful things the last few days so for the first time I think I actually feel relieved and ready to get past this place in my life.

I went in to have some color touched up on my tattoo and he re-did the whole thing. It looks awesome!

I'm already planning my next one. I may have a slight addiction.

Our friends watched my dog this past weekend and I wanna get them aomething to thank them. Not sure what!

Any ideas?

jojoandleo yes I totally get what you mean. My friend told me to use a 100% cotton tshirt to scrunch/dry it and that seems to make a big difference too.

I have a lunch date today with a new guy and I asked him to suggest a restaurant. Where does he suggest? The restaurant where the guy that I went out with on Friday works! Ha, yea we won't be going there. Awkward.

I had a job interview on Friday and today the recruiter called and asked for references. I'm trying not to get too excited, but I am excited!

I just got some unexpected job news...I'll be moving into a completely different role, and I'm super excited and also so nervous. New role is totally new to the company, so I'm starting from scratch. No templates, good or bad! I even have to come up with what title I want. I'm trying to find similar jobs to get an idea of what I should call myself and what compensation I should ask for.

bl and jojoandleo, I have really been loving the Tresemme Perfectly (Un)Done shampoo and conditioner. It's designed to enhance wavy hair. There are some additional products in the line that have been getting rave reviews, but so far I've just used the shampoo and conditioner. When I want really wavy hair, I spritz in some sea salt spray in my wet hair after I've washed it.

Today was my first day at my new job and it was fantastic. Looking forward to tomorrow!
