night time diapering

H started peeing through his nighttime diapers about a week ago, like really soaking through them even though he is waking up less at night to eat.

I think this is in part because he is suddenly sleeping on his tummy with his legs up under him. Any boy moms have an idea? The diaper isn't wet at the back really much and I do make sure he is pointed down. I am using a wool cover but it slips off the slippery kawaii diapers (that have a hemp insert, microfiber insert, and now a hemp doubler)

Only tips are get nighttime diapers, go ups size, and point his penis down. It helps, but he still sometimes leaks. Boys!

So, the real advice is keep extra sheets on hand. And it's easier ih he sleeps in just a diaper.

Are you cloth or disposable? We actually ended up having to switch to disposables at night. If we bulked up enough to stop the leaks, she was uncomfortable and would take them off in the middle of the night.

We cloth and I think if I started buying disposables dh would murder me and my "money saving" cloth.

I think a lot is the angle of his butt now because the leak is at his tummy and even between his legs is barely wet.

I am not looking forward to this. We use disposables at night on J because she is such a heavy wetter that none of our cloth diapers work on her no matter how we mix it up or stuff them.

we did not have any issues with BJL, but we switched to disposables at night the boy. effing peens.

Dang peens make life complicated.

I put a hemp doubler folded in half at the front of his diaper and it worked the past two nights...he was damp but not soaked. We'll see how long that works.

Speaking of which, E soaked through his diaper & sheets last night & his stuffed animals were wet. How does one wash stuffed animals???
