I guess it's personalities? When I first started getting BOTB (a long time ago and wasn't ready to TTC) I researched and lurked on my own. I never even thought to ask on the board. I figured a few pages back or a quick google search would answer me. I've also never looked outward to others for support though. I'm an introvert and prefer to answer my own questions. I use the board for socialization with others who may be like-minded and entertainment.

The whole idea of joining a message board for support is foreign to me. I have found support, but I wasn't seeking it when I joined. Plus the other p&r type boards piss me off. I spent one day on the What To Expect boards and ran running and screaming.
I have found support, but I wasn't seeking it when I joined.
I agree with this. I think the branding on the Bump leads people to believe that everyone is blissfully TTC/KU and we all just sit around thinking "isn't this great!?" all the time.
