Friday Randoms

I just placed a $700 order Nordstrom for their sale. I hope I only end up liking half the stuff, lol! A third of my order was matching bras and underwear and then I also got a Rebecca Minkoff crossbody after I realized that I have no small purses.

Saw Magic Make with bl last night and over dinner afterwards we started planning a Greece trip that we are hoping to take next year! I didn't realize how traveling ONE TIME would make me want to travel so much more!

I think I'm going to see Trainwreck either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully I'll learn a thing or 2 from the movie about putting myself out there.

Last night was the awards ceremony for the marketing award I won. I knew I won something going in...but I didn't know it was FIRST PLACE!!!!

The award is so heavy too and I have to carry it on the plane! Lol /bragplaint

I'm leaving for our weekend vacation in 3.5 hours!

I need to finish off my readings, shower, find breakfast, walk the dog, and finish packing!

I'm excited to get out of town. I hope it doesn't rain this weekend. Our resort is so nice and I want to enjoy it!

And now I just bought a clock that I can stick on my mirror in my bathroom. I'm always running late for work so maybe this will help a little.

I'm very much in a "revamp my lifestyle" mood right now.

I am beyond excited about this Greece trip planning, it would be my first time in Europe!

Spending the bulk of the weekend with the new guy I went out with last week. I guess after this much time together it should be really clear if we click well or not.

I am 4 shots in on the ACV and my flow is definitely lessened (today would normally be my heaviest or second heaviest day), but it is still there. I am hoping another shot this afternoon and it will be minimal enough that we can still do whatever and just shower after.

I am right there with you pantsoffdanceoff on the revamping my life. I have been slowly working at it since moving and I am absolutely vowing to make my thirties everything that my twenties weren't!!

I Am dragging! But it is completely self induced. I did a get together with old college classmates, some of whom i haven't seen in a decade+ (old!) At the city's premier craft beer taproom. Fun night! . I'm also getting my hair colored over lunch. If I didn't have so much work to do I think i would be more excited

The reactions of my coworkers regarding my hair have been good. I was worried since it turned out brighter than I expected. Here's a pic for those who didn't see it in yesterday's randoms thread.

I wish I could dye my hair fun colors. Being an attorney in Oklahoma is really cramping my style. I would love to have red hair with a purple ombre towards the end.

I'm pretty excited...tonight I am going to see Aziz Ansari. His book was great and I'm excited to hear him talk about it. My date (littleduck) has a super cute dress that she will be rocking, so I need to figure out what I am going to wear. Might as well dress up if the company is doing it!

I'm going to go see train wreck tonight. I'm so excited!!! Currently getting my hair done and then taking my mom to eat. It's a great day and I'm so happy to be back home. My mom brought my doggies back today and I was SO happy to see them!

For some reason (yes, even after reading it in a few other posts), I thought "Trainwreck" was a nickname you gave to someone you're dating. I couldn't figure out why you would continue to date someone you considered a trainwreck!

In my defense, we don't have cable. We get our local Fox station with the antenna, so that's the only way I see commercials for current movies, and I only watch a handful of shows on that channel.

My random is that tomorrow I have a couple of friends coming over to just hang out and relax. We have a nice piece of property, and it's really peaceful just sitting around the firepit with some drinks. My one friend has some anxiety issues which are kind of flaring right now, and her BF is currently out to sea on his ship for a couple of months, so she's going to just come out and veg.
Our friends are going to come over, we'll probably cook something on the BBQ and have a lot to drink, then on Sunday the three of us are going into Seattle for the Richard Sherman Celebrity Softball Game. I didn't go last year, because I didn't have anyone to go with, and I'm excited to go, especially with these 2 friends. Only problem, it's supposed to be HOT (for Seattle), and sitting inside a stadium is always hotter because they don't get much airflow. I'm sure I'm going to regret wearing my dark blue Seahwawks jersey, but I'll tough it out, because that's what kind of fan I am!

Ha, funny and very fitting. When I told MSTBX I was going to see Trainwreck he actually called himself a trainwreck (he is - at least he's at the point of admitting it). But your question is still appropriate. :-P

The guy I went out with Wednesday asked me out for tonight. I had said yes, we kissed good night and texted good night and I haven't heard from him since. It was feeling one-sided regarding communication since I felt like I was the one reaching out first, so now it's confirmed that apparently I won't hear from him unless I reach out. Am I being petty by not reaching out?

I probably would have sent a message this morning asking what the plan was for tonight. IDK about petty, but does it really matter who reaches out as long as the date happens?

Today I had to deal with that same difficult client that keeps surfacing. I think she's a very unhappy person.



At my ranch now though drinking white wine. It's my happy place. Most gorgeous view ever.
