I found out about my raise yesterday. From HR, not my boss, he notified everyone on Thursday, except for me.

I can't even be happy about it because I'm so stressed and pissed about my work situation. Ugh.

Got home from Puerto Rico yesterday. I love it there.  We had a great time and it stinks to be back to reality. But I did miss my cats. (Maybe I AM a crazy cat lady??)  They hid under the bed and refused to come out every time my friend came to feed and check on them. One seems to still be a little annoyed at us. 
Grocery shopping needs to happen later because the fridge is empty due to vacation. I'm going to look up some recipe ideas so I can actually plan what to shop for.

My nephews are in town with my sister's ILs and my dad and I brought them and DDs to the air show at the Niagara Falls Air Force base. The main event, the Thunderbirds, are just about to go up. I'm excited about that.

I haven't heard from the guy I went on a date with on Wednesday since Thursday night. I sent him a pic of my hair and it's been crickets since. Guess the brightness scared him off???

If your super cute pink scared him off...then he's an asshole!!  I really think it looks awesome. I'm so tempted and seeing you with a similar blonde to me makes me want to try it! (Just maybe a smaller section because work). Did she do chunks or the whole underneath section?

I was supposed to go to a picnic with a running group. But the weather cancelled. I'm kind of disappointed because I was looking forward to making some new friends since I'm new to the area. But I do have some plans for this evening with old friends, so at least I'll be social tonight.

Also, I got my first pay check yesterday. It was so tempting to go on a mini shopping spree, but instead I put money in savings and to pay off my credit card. Lame!

It's thunder storming here and I love it! I went to a yoga class today and was able to get up into a handstand. It was so easy to do a handstand when I did gymnastics when I was younger -- why is it so hard now?? :-P

She did it just like she would do highlights. In fact, she did a bunch of blonder highlights first, which is why we think the color took so well. And so brightly too!

My hairdresser doesn't really do fun colors.  I'll have to ask her or find someone else if I decide to do it.
