I went to Bar Method for the first time in over 7 months this morning; I forgot how hard that workout is. It was not easy waking up at 5 am for class, but I'm proud of myself that I did.
I did not put much effort into my outfit today. I'm wearing a long black maxi skirt, black long-sleeved top and brown leather wedges. It looks good but it looks like I dabble in witchcraft.
I am so tired I could cry. Why did I decide to go out at 10 last night and get home at 1, and wake up at 5:30 for work?? I cannot wait for my DD to go to bed tonight (7:30) so I can promptly go to bed as well.
I napped on and off all day yesterday and then slept all through the night with no problem. I am hoping to get the majority of my packing done tonight for my flight on Wed because I won't have much time tomorrow. I am hoping to get my nails done on a long lunch today, so that's one less thing I need to get done tonight after work.

Started back at the gym today (the first time since we left for Italy) and it was TOUGH! I wouldn't squat what I wanted and my legs felt like jelly. Boo!! BUT I did get in 10 pull ups!
My little brother won the all around saddle at our home town rodeo yesterday. P is staying the week with them so I'm happy he could be there.
I was over for the rodeo and at our family ranch this weekend. I was a little worried about taking P to the rodeo because I was thinking that xh would be there. He wasn't but Ps little cousins were so he got to play with them. Xsil had texted me before to see if we were going so I was happy he got to see them.
I talked to my little bro last night and congratulated him on his win. We started talking about how my dad has been lately. He's been really miserable and cranky even mean to us. I rarely see him but I did his weekend and he was essentially intolerable. I'm going to talk to him and tell him how it made me feel and see what's going on. He's supposed to be getting married soon, you'd think he'd be incredibly happy.
I have lots of work to do and absolutely no motivation. Plus I didn't sleep well last night and I'm super tired today. Why did I think it was a good idea to look up black eyed kids before bed?!

Today is my day off and I went to the gym already (yay me!). I'm going to get dressed and run by my old job to drop off some things. My roommate and I are supposed to get pedicures and go shopping today, which should be fun. I am in desperate need of new work clothes and hopefully new clothes will prompt me to get rid of some pretty ragged pieces hanging out in my closet.

bl-I used the t-shirt drying method this weekend and LOVED the results!
I'm hungover from the baseball game yesterday. There was free beer. The child (I guess technically he had to be 21, but he looked about 16) who served the beer asked to see my ID. When I showed it to him he said, "Oh wow!" Uhhhh, thanks? I was all, "What?" And he goes, "I just didn't expect...that." You know he was about to say "I didn't expect you to be so old" and thought better of it.
I AM ON VACATION!!! I'm not going anywhere, but I have DDs all week and my nephews are in town until Saturday. We don't really have any plans for today so we're getting ready to head to my mom's to hang at the pool again. Later on though, I have a track workout with my running group. Then we're all going out for food at a restaurant that one of my old friends from Victoria's Secret works at. We won't be in her section, but she said she'll stop over to say hi. I haven't seen her in a good 8 years or so.
jojoandleo yay I am glad you liked it, shocking how much difference it can make. I got carded at least 10 times at Disney (yeah we drank a lot over the 2 days lol) since I had minimal makeup on and felt bad because only once was my date asked for his id. I think it hurt his ego a teeny bit lol.
I'm supposed to be starting my new role today, except that I really have no guidance or idea as to what that means, so I am just reading a bunch of stuff to give me background info. I'll be the go-to person to help make sure our clients are compliant with the new ACA requirements...so if anyone has any knowledge of this stuff, I'd love to chat
I'm also heading out on vacation this week, which I am super excited for since I am going to see my family and see the Book of Mormon in the motherland (Salt Lake) on opening night! I am a little anxious because a co-worker is going to puppy sit for me. I am grateful that she offered and she seems really excited...but she is also a little, I don't know, manic sometimes. I think it will be fine.

This begs the question! What were you doing out from 10-1?

I saw Trainwreck this weekend and had higher expectations, though it was pretty good. My H loved it.
Also, I saw a guy I dated when walking out to go get snacks. I walked back in and guess where he sat? Right next to my husband, lol. We dated almost 3 years ago but I'm sure he remembered me. I texted H "you're sitting next to a guy I dated. lol" He whispered back "you've already met like several people I used to date, so it's cool".
Luckily, we're cool with these things, so it was more funny than anything.
He (the guy) was not good in bed and perhaps the messiest guy I've ever dated.

Ha! I went to my BFs house. Had to go over late since he had his kids this weekend and they needed to be asleep.
Is he cute? Open to long distance relationships? When I am ready to date again, I will be open to GBCN setups. cough cough jenny1980.
Half kidding. But ...
LOL He's an average guy, not bad looking, not hot, but he's short. But smart, successful and good hearted. However he's above the average age of most of us here (almost 50).
