I rationalized the last one with the fact that I would've been too far along to go visit family this Christmas. (We trade years and this one is supposed to be with mine.) I don't know what I'll tell myself for the next one.
I do that same thing. Right now, I'm training to do a 5k as well, but we'll see if I can keep it up. Otherwise, some sort of alcoholic beverage usually helps as well.

These days, BFNs don't bother me as often. I still like to eat a lot of cheetos and drink wine on CD 1 though. Sometimes I throw lots of sushi in the mix.
I usually console myself with a night out with a few girlfriends and a bottle of wine, and tell myself that it means that MH and I can grow our savings that much more. The wine(or beer!) is key
