We just switched our twins to convertible car seats. They are 9 mos. I have a double tandem stroller that I always used and still can without the bucket seats. I also have a jogging stroller. I HATE my tandem stroller though. One kid faces out while one faces me. I feel like the one facing out gets scared. I used it once in target and they both cried whereas they nomally don't mind errands.
I don't think I should sell it now, but at what point did you ditch a stroller? I will still have the jogging for outside and zoo. I know if I have 1 kid I can have them sit in the cart. I am hoping once they are standing I can put one in basket and 1 in front part of cart? (If I need to run an errand with both kids).
I can do errands alone, I used to take them to the mall or target a lot just as something to do. I also don't wear either of them.

I had both a side by side and a front back stroller. I sold my front back because I hated it and always reached for the side by side. I still use the side by side at times but my lo is a year and DD is 5 so i usually wear the 1 yo. So I'd sell the tandem and keep the jogging.
I would definite;y get rid of the one that isn't working well for you. You can usually get those kids carts at Target they can both fit in or Costco can always fit two up top. Once they all starting walking well we didn't take a stroller to pedi appointments anymore-but it was a short walk from parking lot to their door.
I just used my cheap double umbrella stroller last week at the zoo and I'm glad I brought it -one kid walked or rode in my friends wagon. I sold my fancy valco stroller a few months ago because we hardly used it - they were 3.5 then. We also still occasionally use our Radio flyer triple wagon but I will probably sell that next summer.
I sold my tandem long before my kids were done with strollers and got a SBS. Around 2.5-3y I stopped using a stroller for most short things but still used it pretty frequently. I sold my SBS at 3.5 and now use a wagon for things like zoo trips.
If you are ok with using your jogging stroller inside then I think you would be fine with just having that. I wouldn't plan on getting away with no inside stroller at this point since your kids are only 9m. I found that I went more places as my kids got older and dropped naps.

We stopped with strollers completely by about 18 months. The girls never liked them, and preferred to walk. For errands, we sought out places that had good double carts. When we go to a big park (Orlando) or a zoo, we rent one if we need one. Our zoo is small, and they've walked it no problem for years.

My kids are about 1.5 and we don't use a stroller very often - maybe once in the past 6 months? But we also don't take a lot of walks or go places where the kids would be walking around all day or anything.
I won't be getting rid of our strollers any time soon though. We've got two SBS - a small umbrella one and a BOB. I know we'll use the BOB when we go on a trip later this summer, or if we go to a park a ways away. The umbrella one is good if I have to take the kids to a Dr appointment (or somewhere else) by myself.
The only tandem stroller I had was the snap and go, which I obviously had to stop using once the kids were out of their infant seats.
We had a front/back tandem and rarely used it. I don't think we used it at all past age 2.
We still use the double BOB at age 3.5 for walks, trips to the zoo, and actually running occasionally. For shopping trips, we usually are all together so we take two carts at places like Target or Costco.

After 1, we only used the stroller to get to and from our truck to our apartment (we have 1 parking space and 2 vehicles). We will probably sue it again for their next doctor's appointment.
We kept using our City Mini (and occasionally the Duoglider) up until 2.5. After that we used it once in a while, like for the zoo, and sold it a little before the boys turned 4.
My kids are 3 and 16 mos and we still use the stroller all the time. We do a lot of outings like the zoo, amusement parks, travel, etc. In addition to daily walks to the park. I have several strollers that serve different purposes.
If you don't like your tandem then get rid of it. But I personally wouldn't leave yourself without a stroller, especially with twins. I don't use the stroller for errands anymore but I do use my double umbrella for dr appts since I go alone and need them contained. We also use that for travel.
I have a a sbs with Joey seat so all 3 can ride we use for the park or long walks when I don't want to walk slowly with kids walking. And I have the tandem city select for when J can walk but the girls can't walk all day like the zoo or something. My tandem we can adjust the seats though so they both face me, face out, or face each other. I love that stroller.
I don't expect to be done with strollers for several years.
