Thursday Randoms

I'm so thankful it's Thursday. I work 4, 10 hour shifts M-Th, so today is my Friday. I moved myself and the cats into my new house on Sunday and it has been a big adjustment, especially getting ready when all my shit isn't unpacked and trying to anticipate the traffic trends to and from work. So ready to be settled

We are going to an amusement park today. We'll likely spend the majority of the day in the water park. I should be up and packing for the day so we can get their early enough to get decent seats (and 7 together) ut I'm tired and still laying in bed.

I can't stop buying things!! I'm eyeing a pair of Converse Shoreline sneakers in light grey.

I have a first date tonight and I am pretty happy with the outfit I chose. I might wear it again for another first date on Monday.

Last night I was feeling kind of down about dating and naturally I dreamed about exH last night to really rub it in. Ugh. Today I feel out of sorts. And it appears that I'm getting a stye on my eye and I have a big breakout on my forehead. I wish I could stay in bed today.

I made a big payment on my credit card which feels good, but it also means I'm out of fun money until the next paycheck. Boo.

I'm speaking to a recruiter today about a position that would be a big step up for me (these are rare to hear of where I live because the corporate presence isn't too big around here). She reached out to me and I'm not really looking but it never hurts to talk! I've been doing the same thing for four years so a change might do me good. We'll see

Today is my Friday. I'm taking tomorrow off to spend time with Mom and DD. Can't wait! I feel like today's going to draaaaaaaaag on.

BF made dinner last night and it was quite delicious. I need to get some cleaning done tonight for Mom's arrival. The good news is that I've been working on my laundry mountain all week and I have just one load to do when I get home tonight. Woot! I feel so accomplished!

This might not sound like a huge feat to many, but I filled up my gas tank today BEFORE the gas light went on!

There are several dogs in nearby shelters that are in desperate need of a foster home, after I dog sit for a girlfriend this weekend, we will most likely have a foster pup! One in particular is about 9 and she is scared in the shelter. I can't wait to do a meet and greet with her and my resident dogs.

Earlier in the week it looked like the class I'm supposed to start teaching might be canceled. Now it appears it's on -- I have to work my butt off over the next few days to finish everything.

Going on a ghost tour tonite -- it's been rescheduled twice due to weather and I'm so excited to actually do it!!!

The account opening that had me all stressed out yesterday is done! Now I can get into vacation mode. Yay!
