Are you sure it is a yeast infection? I would go, if i was unsure. I have never had one before, so I am not sure about the differences in meds. If I was sure i would prob do over the counter.

I've gone to Urgent Care a few times because the Rx provides quicker relief and gets rid of it fast. The times I've used OTC meds and tried to wait it out were the worst for me and it didn't get rid of it completely, but maybe I used the wrong Monistat like PP said.

Yes, they'll treat you. Reading these other responses makes me wonder about what Monistat I used before though and need to take note. The last couple YIs I've had were almost unbearable and the OTC stuff helped some but not completely.
Also, I saw your "ETA" above. I'm prone to YIs from antibiotics also, so now every time my doc has to give me an antibiotic he goes ahead and writes an Rx for Diflucan also just in case. If I need it then it's ready for me at the pharmacy.

Diflucan is the BEST stuff ever. I wouldn't go to emergency care for it though. I would get an OTC medication and try to get an appointment on Monday or Tuesday.
I'd call up the urgent care center near you and ask what they recommend. If they're willing to see you and prescribe you something, then go for it. But I'd hate to get my ass all the way down there only to be told, awww, that's cute.
