I'm sorry. I'm suffering through night 2 of cluster feeding so I feel your pain. It looks my milk is starting to come in, and I've gotten one good 2 hour stretch of sleep but it's going to be a "sleep when the baby sleeps" kind of day.
Piggy backing, couple of questions:
1. O wants to sleep on his side. We have been putting him down on his back but keep finding him like the picture below. He's 3 days old so I seriously doubt he could flip over but it still worries me. Anyone else's LO do this?
2. In order to get any kind of sleep during cluster feeding nights I've had to tuck him into my shirt and let him sleep on me. I realize the risks but I feel like I'm in survival mode right now. Am I setting myself up for crib failure?
It's now 10am but I had a rough night with dd1 (who is 4). A tummy bug of some sort we think. Went through a phase of going in to her every 20mins. That stretched to 40mins eventually and then a whole 90mins!! Poor thing can barely keep water down at the moment. And she's tucked up in bed beside me.
I got Cinderella and Fantastic Mr Fox on DVD from the library for her yesterday.
Last night, DD2 as up twice (molars!!). So I had the foresight to give Motrin before bed. Tonight, still up twice. Blahhhhhhhh. Need to find the Tylenol for wake up one.
