I think older Coach is pretty classic. I really hate their quality now and how many fakes are out there. I've branched out on bag labels to find better quality since Coach is big here and there are a ton of fakes. My all time favorite is a wool bag in brown, gray, and cream houndstooth with suede trim and gold hardware. It's about 6 years old now and still in good shape, but it's one of the last I bought from them.

I only have a couple more recent Coach bags. The ones I got are very good quality, IMO. However, I am curious to know what other labels/brands you like. I am always looking for cute bags.

I have several Tano bags in fun colors that I got at Musthavebag.com that I use to run errands with since the more they distress the cooler they get. They are usually about $200 or less, but my favorite was $450 since it's hand woven leather. For a similar price range to that, I like my Cynthia Rowley.
Pour La Victoire is another one I use a lot but those are a step up in cost. Their leather is buttery soft and the hardware is very sturdy. I have a few different Rebecca Minkoffs that I love and a Meli' Melo' that's fantastic. The Meli' Melo' bags are vintage Italian leather. I also have a Kooba that's great. For fun bags, I like Cuffz by Linz Shelton which are handmade in LA. They are also a very nice leather and the hardware is police grade handcuffs. I have her bags in gold, silver, and metallic denim blue. Coach really doesn't compare to any of these in quality or service IMHO, especially since they stopped making them here.
