I'm supposed to be recovering this week and Strava sends me a snarky little email telling me some chick has just stolen my QOM! They are totally taunting and baiting me into a harder-than-i-should ride on Friday, aren't they. Jerks.
(Also, the fact that I have/had a QOM does not say much for my local cyclists LMAO!)
LOL! I have a total love/hate with Strava. I have a bunch of MRTT friends following me now, and I feel the need to explain myself in my run descriptions, like the time I sprinted home because I had to poop, and then forgot to turn off my watch. Derp.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

This is why I've been avoiding Strava. I have a competitive nature and I'm afraid that it would throw me off of my plan.
Yes I also have a competitive nature despite my not being a terribly talented athlete. But I like the anonymity of the competition on the routes around my house. I like knowing that Susan Speedypants is out there and probably lives somewhere near me and her and I are competing with eachother on a certain segment. She could be buying bananas next to me at the grocery store for all I know!
And I also really like being able to compare myself to others on specific routes.
