DD came in before six saying she needed to go potty. After I got up to help her she says she does not need any help. DH was already up and could have helped if need be. So I basically got up 30 minutes early for nothing.
Plus DS saw me and wanted milk so I could not go back to bed.
So since DS STTN again I decided to pump after he nursed this morning (because ouch)...only one ounce from the side he nursed on, but 5 from the other side. Not bad.
Today we have a long list...early years program, farmer's market, meeting bananapancakes so she can shower me with her generosity, then a 1st birthday party this afternoon. I wanted to go see my doc to get a PT script but I don't think I can squeeze it in.
DS has been so restless the past week or so. He doesn't really cry more, but he looks like he just can't get comfortable - like he's gassy, except that he doesn't pass the gas or poop after the arching and flailing, so I don't think it's gas? Either way, I'm exhausted.
I have pregnancy insomnia ughhh. I am normally an excellent sleeper (not to brag), but now it's all random broken sleep and Charlie houses. Boooo....
Lol. I don't think it's bragging when you sleep well, just when your kid does.
I dyed by hair brown. I tried to get it a little lighter but it didn't work. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I went out and met some new people through a meet up group last night. Booze and trivia. It was fun.

This has started to creep in for me too and usually I sleep hard! Those Charlie horses are no joke!
My random is this is the first weekend since May that we have no plans. I am so so excited to sleep in, maybe go to the beach, maybe do some stuff in the nursery, do some returns from the shower. I like that there are zero plans!

DH was running late and my two year old heard him leave around 6:30 am. He was super cranky and rarely wakes before 7:00 am so I told him to lay down and rest - he's still laying down. We have a lot to do today and company arriving, I don't need a cranky two year old.
Should be a fun weekend. Today my BIL arrives for the weekend --he's awesome. And my mom and aunt and uncle are also I. Town for just the night then leaving first thing in the Morning to be back late Sunday! Busy, busy, busy!
Kids have been up since 6:30, their little bodies gave no fucks about the 3 mile hike with 120+ flights of stairs worth of elevation changes yesterday lol.
And my babysitter's mom texted me last night that she had a migraine and won't be coming today. Her mom offered to take my kids though so I could get some things done but eh. I didn't really feel like cleaning the bathrooms anyway. The only thing I really would absolutely like to get done before DH gets home tomorrow is to cut the grass because well, it hasn't been done since he left last Thursday and needs it. I think I can do it while the baby naps if I put on a movie for the other two. It should only take me 20 minutes or so.
Trying to decide if I want to try a Lift and Tone class at the gym this morning.

Ugh, last night was an epic disaster! He was up for the first time at 1:30. That one wasn't too bad and he was back to sleep in less than 10 minutes. Then it was an hour and a half long scream fest 2:30-4:00. It was awful! He kept pointing at my chest, pointing at the bed where I normally nurse him, and signing "more" and "please". He was getting so frustrated and was just screaming and crying his little heart out. It was absolutely gut wrenching. He's so strong willed and doesn't give up without a fight. My H and I tag teamed it and he eventually did fall asleep in his crib "on my watch" with me sitting in a chair beside his crib. I'm proud I didn't cave and just nurse him but it was so, so hard. We're staying in a hotel the next two nights so obviously I can't let him do that there so I don't know what to do. Ugh, this is hard.
It just dawned on my me that two years ago today I found out I was pregnant with DS! That seems like yesterday, but also like a million years ago. So much changes and I love it! I also love where we're at now and have a hard time picturing us starting fresh with a brand new baby. This is where DH says "uh, I thought that conversation was on hold for a few more months." True, but it's a running conversation in my brain, though. The time will present itself, right??
Big weekend ahead- just found out the contractor wants to start on our basement project tomorrow! (Originally said mid-late September) So, tonight after our anniversary dinner date, we get to rush back home and move all of our crap to one side of the basement so they can start the project tomorrow morning. Good thing we'd already made arrangements for DS to spend the night with the ILs. Excited to create a playroom just for DS!
My phone automatically updated to some new lollipop something or other that had no customization hardly at all. Stupid. I like my swipe screens thank you very much. I figured out it could back to normal with a Google Launcher in about 2 seconds but why? Just why? Do I have to fix this stuff at 530am.
We had a major breakdown yesterday in the barnyard. There's a 15k bill coming (it's sort of okay. We have farm savings for this..but still) and it's holding up our hay making show until it's fixed. Ish.
DD has dr. today so that and grocery store an tons of playing outside.
It is ridiculously hot here and it is making me not able to sleep at all. As if being 38w pregnant wasn't making it hard enough to sleep. I am in the waiting room for a 7AM GD appointment and fighting to stay awake.
Really random: I have stopped shaving my legs so I can get them waxed so it will be one less thing to do with a fresh c section incision. However the few days of growth is making me insane!

On a positive note, it's wedding weekend! I'll be rocking the dress you all helped me pick out, L will be adorable in his ring bearer outfit, my H will be so handsome in his tux, and I'm going to get tipsy for the first time since before getting pregnant!
As a bonus, I get to see rugbywife and @vicmo too!
I'm lucky that last night was the first time this has happened. DS woke up screaming with a bad dream, and was yelling so loud over the monitor he woke up DD. She usually sleeps right through that, but last night she burst into tears.
She's 4.5 months old, I think it's time to start thinking about putting her in her own room. She's a great sleeper, it should be fine. We have about $1K worth of work to do in that room though, eep! Tear out carpet and install hardwood, wire & install ceiling fan with light, paint walls & repair trim. At a minimum. Plus actual decor.

My right eye is a little swollen, and keeps tearing up. I forgot to switch to new contact lenses. This sucks, but not enough to make me consider LASIK. ::shudders::
DH is off today since he is working 1 billion hours on Sunday. He said he had a long to do list to get through, but I'm wondering if he'll just enjoy a quiet house instead. We've both been doing so much work between the current house and new house that we are exhausted.
Thunderstorms kept me up last night. Starbucks doesn't seem to be working. Ugh, so.tired.
At home today. Have a small amount of work to do, but will be mostly working on getting ready for DS's birthday party tomorrow. I am going to make red and blue Rice Krispie treats. Hopefully figuring out how much food coloring to use will be easy! I plan to make one red and two blue batches.
H was gone overnight for the first time since DD2 was born. Everyone STTN!
We are going for a walk and then invited ourselves over to someone's to swim, LOL. (They are pretty much my favorite family from our church, lol - she brought us like 4 meals when I had a baby, and will take the kids sometimes, and says to invite ourselves over any time we want to swim.)
I have to also get my very broken computer and figure out how to fix it.
Our town puts on movies for kids in the park during the summer. This week was frozen. Lots of little girls in costumes. The bank was one of the sponsors for the movie night, so they had some teenage/college girls there dressed up as a big Anna and Elsa. They had all the girls in dresses come get a prize and take a picture. H leans over to me and TOTALLY SERIOUS says "I think those older girls are here with the bank. They didn't just dress up."
I still get the church giggles every time I think about it.
