DS had a fevers all day yesterday. He woke up at 12:30am still really hot needing more meds. Im hoping today is better. He was in a decent mood and was still eating good.
The consignment store i go to is having their end of season $1 sale. All summer stuff is a buck. Im going to stock up on 2t and 3t for next summer.
@little_Moxie...I have done the same with DD before...for whatever reason, she won't go back to sleep in her crib, so I bring her to our bed, where she messes around, playing, so finally I take her back to her bed and she goes right out. Makes no sense.
Both kids were up by 5:45...but both STTN so how can we complain. This morning I have to do their laundry and go for a run before church. The ILs are coming over for dinner tonight, which will be nice, but I feel like my house is a mess. As usual.
Ugh. The house is such a mess. Well, the kitchen and back room/laundry room which is what I saw first this morning. I'm feel like it takes me forever to really wake up and do something these days.
Ds2 woke up at 3am with a fever. Dh spent the night at a friend's place which means no sleep in after a long night for me. Ds2 has been whining all morning. I'm kind of at the end of my rope with that sound. I just accidentally woke him up 10 mins into a nap so the next couple hours should be awesome.
I got stood up last night! I texted him to ask what time he wanted to go to the movies (we had a date planned) and he said "hold on, let me check the movie times" and then never texted after that. Lame. So instead I went out wth some new vet students to a local burger place. It was fun getting to know them!
jenn248 - I thought about the full moon and going into labor but I didn't want to go into labor Friday night, but last night would have been fine!
I had a horrible night sleep wise - slept from 11:30 - 1:30, then awake for awhile, and then fell asleep on the couch from about 5:15 - 7. It's my worst night of sleep so far this pregnancy. And despite being up until 9:30 (bedtime is usually 7-7:30) DS is already awake. Fortunately my parents are here and entertaining him. I'll hop in the shower soon and join them.
I finally got a good nights sleep!!! After several nights of waking up 1000x, I passed out at 10 last night and didn't wake up until 6:45. I feel so much better.
Amazingly, DD is still in her room at 7:40. I hear her playing but she's not complaining so I'm enjoying my coffee in peace. This bodes well for the day.
I think I'm going to be taking J back to the doctors tomorrow. We've tried everything for medicine and he still is only getting 1/2 - 3/4 dose of antibiotics. I don't feel like he's getting better. He was up multiple times last night crying.
The past two nights in a row DS has woken up screaming 2-3hrs after he goes down to sleep. Not crying. Not hungry. Just screaming. It's taken like 20 minutes to calm him down and he falls back asleep. I don't know if his reflux meds need adjusted or if it's teething (I can't see anything). He's been pretty normal during the day. Not extra gassy or anything. It's so weird.
Maybe his is having night terrors? My oldest had them when he was a baby, and they usually occur 2-3 hours after going to sleep. After speaking with his doctor and doing some research we discovered that they usually occur when they aren't getting enough sleep. We raised his bedtime by an hour and the night terrors went away. If for some reason we were late putting him to bed, he'd have another one.
DS1 just woke, DS2 is still sleeping, but he was up twice last night. As soon as company leaves, we are going to start night weaning!
So much company lately and poor eating, I swear I can feel my butt growing!
@littlemoxie, I'd be nervous and worried too. Do you have any flight information? Can you start with the airline? If you need to call the Embassy, do it. When he gets come, I'd be relived and lay into him about phone communications - hugs!
It's 815 and we painted a big box, did painted footprints and made pancakes. TV time.
We might go to the science centre later but I feel bad 'wasting' a sunny day. But tomorrow we have swimming plans and I think she has had 3/5 days at the splash pad or park this week.
DH & I stayed up way too late waiting for the Rousey fight. Finally went to bed before 1:00, but of course my body naturally woke up before 7. Thankfully, DS is still asleep, but I'm hearing some stirring. Maybe he'll let us all sleep just a little longer.
No big plans today. I think we'll try using the baby pool again today, but I'll fill it up and let the sun warm the water before we actually get in. That was a little traumatic last time!
@littlemoxie, I have been in your H's situation a couple of times. A few days before my wedding reception, I was stuck in Cameroon because of a volcano in Iceland. I know that he is doing everything he possibly can to get out of there. It sounds like he knows his way around an airport, so he will figure this out. He may have had to divert to another African country to get a flight. Who books flights for him? Does the company use a travel agent? I would start there. They may have set up an alternate itinerary for him. I hope you hear from him soon.
Of course on my ONE DAY a week to sleep in, DD wakes up at 5am Even though DH got up with DS (our usual early riser), DH got to sleep in until 6:30. I got DD back down and snoozed a bit, but it wasn't the same as real sleep.
We got home from a concert at 1230. Ds2 was up from 3-4. Ds1 was up at 6 to pee then both boys were up at 7. I'm tired. But we have nothing planned today which is amazing!
We went to PF CHangs last night (you know you're pregnant when...) and now my pants won't button. I knew I was close to the end of that but damn. It was so good though! Yum.
I am wearing a cute striped dress I got for $12.99 at Target. I look good. It's sort of a bodycon crossed with a wrap sort of thing. I look good. Merona brand. Go check it out. It is not on the website I can find otherwise I'd hook you all up.
Off to church and then our church festival today. I apparently work the cotton candy booth. Should be fun.
The baby woke up at 4:30 today, since it's my morning. It's always 6 when it's H's turn. But miraculously he went back down at 5:15 and slept until 7:30, so I feel good. Going for a pedi later today and we're going to my parents' house for a bit. And then I am cleaning this disaster of a house.
It's leaving the lake day :-( H wants to be on the road early and I dont. Why rush home to a hot house when I have Monday off? Let's play at the lake, then get in the car and enjoy the air conditioning and get home later when it starts to cool down?
I also got another BFN this morning at 12-13 at 12-13DPO.
