Monday Randoms!

Good Morning Ladies!

I'm on staycation this whole week, but I woke up at 5:20 . My sister is staying at my house and sharing my queen size bed. I may have to kick her to the couch if my sleep continues to be this interrupted. I know that's mean, but I want my sleep dammit!

My mom got me a fitbit for my birthday! I'm super excited to use it!

Pass the coffee! My sleep schedule has been a little "off" and I've been going to sleep too late. Now I'm tired. Work is about to get busy within the next few minutes. I need to call the dentist when the office opens because I'm still having a bit of pain.

This should probably go in a confession thread, but I slept in my bed for the first time in almost 2 months last night (I've been sleeping on the couch) and I slept horribly. I know I should get back into sleeping in bed, so I am going to give it through this week and hope I get used to having that much room again and sleep better.

I am meeting up for dinner with someone I went on several dates with back in Jan-Marchish. He started dating someone more seriously, so we stopped hanging out and he messaged me late last week. I am excited to see him and catch up.

I'm annoyed at my fitbit today. I'm wearing it on my right wrist because I got my tattoo touched up on my let wrist on Saturday so it is still healing.

My mean boss comes back tomorrow and I just want to quit my job rather than deal with him. This is how I know I need to GTFO.

Is this the song that is like "I need you. I need you" all echo-y? If so I like that song too, but always feel the need to turn the volume down in my car when stopped at a light and my windows are down! lol!

Happy Monday! Teaching day for me. I'm changing the format of the class a bit and I think it'll either go really well or crash and burn. Hoping for no crashing. Or burning.

Gym, laundry, and cleaning today...a rousing Monday! I might head over to a local bookstore that I haven't been to yet to kill some time today. I have a movie to watch and a book to read, too.

I'm also patiently waiting for summer clothing to get marked down so I can start buying some cruise wear. A trip to Target might be in my future, too.

Yes, yes it is. And I do too. But it seems like something I would totally drunkenly shake it to at a club.

We did everything backwards, and my girlfriends threw me a bachelorette party this past weekend, reception is on Saturday. She has been calling me She-ra since she met me, so she bought me a She-Ra costume.
I had no idea what they had planned, otherwise I would have worn a different bra. We pinned the costume up a bit more so the bra didn't show as much. We went to a few breweries, played CAH, and swam in her pool! It was a lot of fun!
I am not sure if I should post the pic, bc it is me with a nude male blow-up doll that isn't too risque, but I am not sure it is suitable for work, but if ppl want me to post a pic, let me know and I will.

I wanted to show an example of navy and coral together in an outfit to someone at work, so I pulled up some anniversary photos exh and I took together and it made me a little sad. We looked so happy in those pics and while things def weren't perfect there was happiness and love and they were only taken 8 months before we split. I hear so many others stories of divorce and they hated each other, and knowing that him and I were never at that point and could still laugh and have a good time even the night before he moved out makes it almost harder to understand. Sometimes I wish we still kept in contact just so I could know how he is doing, because I think a lot of that happiness and love was friendship based vs romantic and that is really the only part I miss. I know without a shadow of doubt there is a much better match for me out there and that I will find it, but sometimes its still a bit hard. :/

I got a text from my dad this morning that he got engaged yesterday. Uhhh a text, really?! I don't know his fiancé very well so it wasn't the most exciting news. I called my little brother and he feels the same way. I guess this weekend my dad opted to go with his gf oot while a raging wildfire was threatening our ranch. So my little bro went out there to direct the fire crews. Really???

Then my mom was in town visiting her BF. She was supposed to get together with P and me yesterday. I guess they were busy planning the trip they're going on tomorrow because she called and said she couldn't do it

I'm just kind of sad. It's not like my brother and I don't have our own lives but it's just weird to see our parents disregard everything and everyone for their relationships. It's crazy

My mom had someone working on my house today. She removed the doggie door cover to put an extension cord through the door but didn't put the cover back. One of my feral born cats got out and I can't find her. Any good thoughts/juju would be much appreciated. I'm so sad.

winecat sending good kitty vibes! I spent the day driving my mom around and helping her after her cornea implant surgery. It's so nice having a job that allows me to be flexible like that. Of course now I am sitting at home catching up on work. But it's all good.
