Sounds like a great weekend RockNVoll! I want to hear more about the new place!
Weekend was pretty good. Friday S and I went out to dinner, then for some much needed grocery shopping. Saturday we went to the beach in RI. We checked another New England beach off our bucket list, woot! Sunday was pretty quiet. We visited a splash pad, and of course she made fast friends with everyone there.
Our biggest excitement is that I accidentally left the cover off the hamster cage (we have the class hamster over the summer), and it has taken up residence under the sleeper sofa in my craft room. I'm trying to lure it out with treats, and really wishing my H wasn't in PA right now!
Friday left work early and went to the gym quickly. Then went out to dinner with DH and went to Lowe's to buy Pergo flooring for a room and paint samples to paint a lot of the interior of the house (both living rooms, dining room, kitchen, hallways) since its all open and is mismatched shades of tan.
Saturday went on a 14 mile run with a friend. Then went back to Lowe's bought 5 gallons of paint, more samples for the kitchen (its going to be a shade darker than the rest) and went grocery shopping for a BBQ we had Saturday night. Saturday afternoon finished getting ready for said BBQ, had about 30 friends over and had a great time.
Sunday morning I volunteered at a race my running club puts on and got to see scm1011 and meet her husband since they ran the race before they went on their Europe trip (so jealous!). Then went to the after party with my running club and stayed too long so that's about all I accomplished for the day. Then went to DH's parents house for another BBQ for his family to say bye to him.
This week working, packing, painting, laying floors down, trying not to panic. Oh and take pictures of the rooms before we move all the furniture out of them. I took front yard pictures this morning. We had a landscaper come last Friday and it looks amazing at the moment. Tonight I have a committee meeting for the finance board for town and I'm handing in my resignation letter since I'm moving. Tomrorow night I have a track meet with my running club. Wednesday night they are having a celebration after our weekly 5k for the 24 hour relay that we ran last weekend. Friday night we are going to my aunt's house because my cousin happens to be in town and dropping the dogs off at my dad's house. Saturday morning we hit the road to drive DH to NC. If we make it thru this week without killing each other it may be a miracle.
Sat the boys had swimming lessons, I took them to a local lake, then home to play. They rode bikes while I walked and attempted to keep up.
Sun we went on a hike to an area with lots of rocks to climb (Purgatory Chasm if anyone has been). Then a family bday/pool party. Boys had a great day.

RockNVoll, congrats on the new flat! scm1011, have a great trip! drloretta, hope the hamster stops hiding soon. bostonmichelle, good luck with everything. And lizlemon19, I hope you're feeling ok after all that running around.
I go back to work 3 weeks from today, so I am hoping to squeeze in at least a few fun things before then. (Apparently, it's been super dramatic there the last couple of weeks - we are moving to a new building this fall, so they picked offfices last week and there was tons of butthurt. Also, they let someone go during his 90 days after it taking months to get someone hired in that role, so people are freaked. So I'm not sorry to miss all of this right now, but I am enjoying the gossip, heh.) I do get to go to the dentist tomorrow, so I'm off to an excellent start ha. I want to try to hit up the outlets, sneak in at least one castle island trip, and maybe take a trip to the beach. We'll see what actually happens.
You're all keeping so busy this summer, I love it!
drloretta, good luck luring out the hamster. I've never liked those things; too mouse-like for me. I just shivered thinking about them!
scm1011, I am the worst red-eye traveler and always crash wherever I finally arrive. I can't believe you're awake!
bostonmichelle, I'm exhausted just reading your past and upcoming itinerary. And I don't know if I have 30 friends that would come over for a BBQ!
lizlemon19, if I had to keep up with two little boys I would be exhausted pretty much always. I can't imagine adding pregnancy on top of that. Kudos to you! How are you feeling overall?
I am pretty tired most of the time. My kids have a lot of energy. I luckily am starting to get my energy back, at least enough to work out again. 19 weeks now!! At least I am not sick anymore!
I spent the weekend helping my sister and BIL move into their new home. It was a lot of work for not even being my house ;-) Family obligations and all that. I am back to being busy again at work as training has begun and will be this way until well into September.
