A friend of mine convinced me to make the switch....i returned all of my extra sposies to costco already, and just going to finish up our open stock. What finally convinced me was how gorgeous CDs are.
My friend really likes sunbaby ones, even though i just read (on here) that they are cheapies. I will be ordering soon, so i hope they do okay!

Hey neighbor!
Cost doesn't necessarily determine how well a diaper will work. It's mostly about fit. Everyone has their own favorites. Good luck picking out your favorites.

well my friend really liked sunbaby, but i couldn't find enough that were actually in stock to have me commit to them, so i ordered a bunch of alvababy ones with her. my next door neighbor (has a 2.5 month old) decided to make the switch, too, so the three of us ordered this weekend together. i'm really excited to start!
I've been thinking of switching but haven't taken the plunge yet. I some cloth swim diapers though
you should! the way i convinced my h was i calculated how much $$ we'd get back from returning the existing diapers we had sitting in the garage..then calculating out how many reuseable diapers that would be.. it came out to be pretty even (we returned 4 boxes of costco sized diapers and got about $120, so far, i've spent about $100 for a good-enough stash). then i reminded him that once we get these, we will not need any more diapers for someday-baby#2.
i convinced my next door neighbor the same way, in addition to reminding her that every package she opens, is less-money-saved when using CD.
