I finally have FB stupid! A friend of a friend just made the following comment on the Akin story:

"I think what really needs to be done is to define "forcible rape" versus non forcible rape. That would probably be better than legitimate rape. Because if a girl is drugged, she's not really being forced into anything. And maybe if she gets pregnant from that, it will teach her some responsibility."

I didn't even apologize to my friend first for calling this guy an asshole.

This is what kills me about FB. I honestly think it's made me a more miserable person to know assholes like this walk among us. I almost think I'd be better off not knowing which of my acquaintances or distant relatives or their friends are total asshats.

I mean, I know some people say "It makes it easy to find out who the douches are," and I get that. But I'm just surprised at the quantity of douche out there this year. Gah.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm taking a breather from FB for the next couple of months, because every time I get on there, someone disappoints me with their utter douchiness.
