I am constantly running out of photo storage on my iPhone. I would like a service that automatically backs up my photos. Free is preferable, but I am willing to pay if it is a great service. Any suggestions?
I also want to make some photo books. Best places to do that?
Dropbox or google drive. I use dropbox, DH prefers google.
I just did a 12x12 photo book with shutterfly for 2014. I was really happy with the quality. It was pricey since I had a lot of pages, but I got 50% off with a coupon. I'm a scrapbooker, so it was actually cheaper than a traditional scrapbook for me.
Someone the other day mentioned Amazon Photo storage, if you have Prime. I'm still working on uploading all my photos (i have so many!) there, but there's an app available on iPhone for it.
eta: i've used picaboo for phonebooks, when i bought a groupon for cheap. i loved it, especially since i wanted to be in complete control of it.
I use shutterfly as well although they have a page limit. I just do quarterly books at this point.
I also do a big backup to Google Drive. We have a family email account that is basically just for storage for pics and we pay the extra fee for additional stroage..
I also use flickr. I resisted the auto-upload feature until I started to get so behind on uploading that I turned it on and I LOVE IT. It automatically uploads the pictures from your phone that day. All I have to do it move them into the albums I create. The app is great and easy to use.
I also use Snapfish for my photo books. They usually have 10% back from Ebates and pretty good coupons (sometimes up to 60% off books).
