We were there in Nov. and it was in the 70's it was really nice. we always stay at the Vdara and Im not a fan of the Bellagio. The oriental is supposed to be really nice. Wynn is nice as well.
I've never stayed at the Mandarin so I can't compare the rooms, but I did see the lobby and have stayed at Encore (Wynn's sister hotel) and the Bellagio, and it sounds like the Mandarin will be your best bet. It can't be beat as far as being quiet since they basically get no non-guests wandering through. The Bellagio's rooms aren't that great and I think it's the worst hotel for crowds. And as you say the Mandarin much more central than Wynn.
We did a trip the weekend before Thanksgiving, and it was very quiet in general and I remember the prices being good. Although the pools will probably be closed, it's a good time for hiking since it's nice and cool in the morning but still sunny.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. Mark Twain
We went last November, and like mdgirl, we were there the weekend before Thanksgiving. It seemed like a decent number of people were there, but it wasn't crazy or over crowded. The weather was in the upper 60s/lower 70s and warm in the sun but you'd feel a little chilly when the sun went down or were in the shade.
I can't comment on any of the hotels since we stayed at the Cosmopolitan, but I'd recommend that hotel if you're interested.

We stayed at the Wynn and had a great experience. Decent onsite pool, restaurants, etc. and really nice rooms. And it was only a short walk to most of the stuff we wanted to see/do on the strip.
How big a deal is gambling for you guys? Our friends stayed at the Trump hotel (also no casinos) and in a weird way it was kinda nice to have a quieter hotel and to go out into the crazy.

I have been early Nov. and Late Nov. Early Nov. was about 70ish but cool at night. Late November was cool about 65ish. I love Bellagio. I stayed at the Wynn and my checkin was a nightmare. It took forever. I mean over an hour. The hotel itself was nice but I felt like it was so far. Bellagio is right in the middle of the Strip. It is so much easier to get to everything. I love the Venetian too and it is in a good location.
I've been to Vegas in early March, which I think is comparable to November. It was low 70s during the day but does get chilly at night. I was glad that I brought long pants and a sweater. Most pools will be closed, but it's much less crowded than other times of the year which is nice.
I've never stayed at any of the hotels you mentioned, but the Mandarin is currently ranked #1 on Trip Advisor. I would probably stay there if the prices are all comparable, but I've also heard great things about Wynn which is also highly rated (#9). Bellagio is overpriced and always super busy and the rooms need updating.
Has anyone been? What's the weather like? Also, we are deliberating between the Wynn, Mandarin Oriental, and Bellagio. Anyone stayed at any of these? We are looking for a long weekend luxury getaway for our anniversary. I'm liking the idea that the Mandarin is in the middle of the strip and close to the action, but there's no casino and the hotel itself is a bit quieter. Thoughts?
It can get slightly windy/cool at night if you go out and about. But if you catch cabs to/fro, I don't think it would be a problem. I've been to Wynn, and DH had been to Bellagio. We've never been to Mandarin. Of the 3, I'd pick Bellagio the least if you like accesibility (stores, etc.), in comparison to the other two.
I think November would be a great time- but I think most pools are closed if that matters to you. I have been to Vegas 3 times- my favorite hotel is the Encore. It exceeded my expectations at every corner. The dining choices are top notch (the weekend brunch is phenomenal) and the staff was incredible. They checked us into our flight home, printed itineraries for us, escorted us to parts of the hotel if we didn't know where something was, etc. I can only imagine you'd get the same service at the Wynn, since they are the same hotel. We didn't have any issues checking in, either. The location isn't the most ideal, but we wert afraid of walking or taking a cab home if we were on the opposite end of the strip. ETA: you mention you want luxury and the Wynn Hotels definitely fit that bill!
