So it looks like Aj might have a disagreement with my milk in the form of some gnarly gas that seems to cause a good bit of discomfort at times. I've switched formulas and it didn't matter (he is half formula fed) but mixed with timing i'm pretty sure its me. I've cut out dairy since thats what bothered both girls but it didn't have that much of a change. The only other thing that I consistently consume is coffee.
After all that my question is: is it possible that if it is coffee its the caffeine? So that maybe I could at least go to decaff and get relief for little man without completely cutting out my one luxury.
Not sure it helps much to cut out milk if you are using Kirkland formula since that's milk based, right? I always had to cut dairy and soy . I started with just eliminating dairy then eventually cut soy too from both girls to notice the difference. Hope that's not the case for you since that formula is pricey! Hopefully has drops or probiotics help. I'd probably try that first
spunbutterfly. No thankfully it is just gas but it gets rough for him at times. I will pick up some of the probiotics this weekend to try. Thank you!
jamer I drink usually one to two cups a day. But with J I had to cut out all dairy for her intolerance and if I even had the smallest amount of cheese even it would bother her and send her crying in pain for a good hour or two at night
my babies were/are sensitive to cow's milk, soy, egg. i would definitely suggest one of the milk/soy free formulas that spun posted because kirkland formula is milk based, and "regular" sensitive formula is soy based. the best way to figure out what baby is sensitive to is a very thorough food journal. good luck!
