My fil has always had issues. Mostly related to past issues. But this last time he went to the ER they ran a bunch of scans and decided to remove his gall bladder. It couldn't be done laparoscopically, so it was a rather invasive surgery. And they discovered his gall bladder was very infected and inflamed. He also received a blood transfusion because his counts were low. So then the move him to a rehab center. He lasts less than a day there before complaining of sever pain so the take him back toER. More scans show fluid below his liver indicating internal bleeding. Today the did exploratory surgery and couldn't find the source.so they keep giving him blood transfers. And he's in the ICU in critical but stable condition. We just got back from our MI trip Wednesday night and H is off to Florida to see his dad tomorrow morning. I'm scared this is very very serious and I won't be there for either of them but there's no one to watch the kids that long and we can't all afford to go. Gah! I just needed to vent.
