This is my chance to brag that I'm finally going to visit Fenway for the first time. The local chapter of my alumni association is hosting a free happy hour at the Yard House and $20 tix to the game tonight. I'm going with a friend who happens to be an alum as well.
Tomorrow we're taking advantage of tax-free weekend to look for a new TV. Ours is slowly dying. If we're lucky we may find a decently priced sofa as well.
Sunday we're taking S to see Shaun the Sheep. Her second movie in the theater!

Tonight I'm finishing packing up the office in our house and then going to my dad's house to sleep with the dogs.
Tomorrow morning I'm running 17 miles with 2 girls and another 4 or so are running part of the run with us. Tomorrow afternoon I need to finish doing some painting and cleaning in the house. Then I think we are meeting up with my cousin who is in town for dinner.
Sunday we have our open house from 12-2pm. My dad is coming to help me and then after I think I'll be spending quality time with the pool, a beverage, and some magazines.

Have fun, drloretta. And good luck with the open house, bostonmichelle! RockNVoll, how's your husband feeling? No plans for the weekend. The tree guys are here to take care of the branches our neighbors were bitching about, and I have a doctors appt this afternoon. Otherwise, I plan to (FINALLY) watch Wet Hot American Summer on netflix. We did get out for an actual dinner without the baby last night, so we got to be real people again for a couple of hours. (Went to the Salty Pig, sat outside, and I even had TWO glasses of wine. A miracle!) And B was good for his grandparents, so we may actually get to do it again at some point, ha.
We were supposed to be finishing our Europe trip in Italy this weekend but we are home because I had a bleeding episode on the train to Milan and I spent last weekend in a French hospital, desperately wishing I had taken French in high school. I'm fine and the baby is fine. They mostly kept me to force me to be on bed rest and they felt it was best that we head home. So instead we are home unpacking, doing laundry, and mentally preparing ourselves for this being the last week of summer vacation before we go back to work. ;(
I've got a girls night up in NH Saturday and will spend the day at the pool. Sunday I may do some tax free shopping and then am meeting my trainer at 5pm to work out.
5kcandlesinthewind thanks for that. It was so tough because of course we want to do what's best for our baby, but at the same time losing money sucked. At this point, I feel better just being home where all my doctors speak English. Lol.
