I hated the liquid, so inconvenient to travel with. I got the kid on pills and capsules by the time he was 4 to avoid elixirs and suspensions.
Plus, my one cat had to do amoxicillin pretty regularly and I may have confused the two containers from time to time. Cats take a less concentrated version but it comes in the same damned bottle.
I've never been offered them before, but I would call all over town to get them next time. Ds is four andnot ready for capsules but takes these so easily.
The problem you could run in to is the dosage for the Amoxicillin since antibiotics in kids are weight based. . Liquid is great because it can me tailored to whatever amount the infection requires whereas with chew tabs, you are limited because they only come in two strengths.
The dosage goes to shit when the pharmacy tech doesn't reconstitute the liquid with the precise amount of water and you run out of the medicine two days before you should.
