I'm trying out some actual maternity pants from motherhood since my belly has decided it's going to stick with it's awesome impersonation of somebody about 6 weeks further along and the bella bands were just getting on my nerves.
regulars are too long. (by a good 5 inches) these are petites.
too short? I'd obviously only wear them with flats. i can't decide if I just need to buy regulars and deal with getting them hemmed.

You're cute. I bet you're even cuter with a face.
I think the pants are fine if you stick with flats. But I'm not known for my fashion sense, so feel free to overrule me when someone who is actually fashionable comes along.
I'm sorry - yes, I think they're too short. But that is pretty much my one fashion pet peeve brought on by years of my own cluelessness on pant length. They should be long enough for them to "break" in the front - but not drag on the ground. I'd buy the other length and either have them hemmed or use the magic tape/iron thing to "hem" them yourself. Or ignore me because 90% of the world has no clue about the hemline for pants either.
Agree with OscarQ. Plus, if you are asking now, you are probably aware they are too short and it will bug you when you wear them. Speaking from experience...
too short, sorry! I have the same problem... petites are too short and reg (in maternity, not in regular stuff weirdly) are super long. I also need a petite rise but luckily not an issue in pregnancy
I think they look fine now, but I agree with PP that say they will get shorter as your belly gets bigger and pulls them up. Maybe buy some regulars for later, but I don't see any problem with wearing these for now.
Plus, I'm of the opinion that pregnant women get a pass to wear whatever they want to during pregnancy despite any type of fashion rules. Yoga pants to work? Perfectly acceptable. Flip-flops in the middle of winter because your feet are swelling? Perfectly acceptable. If it's comfortable, you get to wear it!

They look fine to me, almost like ankle pants which are on trend now. If you only wear flats or even ballet flats you'll be good. But, with fall and winter coming ahead you might want to spring for hemming.
I also had no luck with the bella band, hated that thing.
too short, sorry and how are you showing more than me?!
Also where did you get the shirt??
Right? My belly is under the impression that it's 6 weeks from now. I have no idea what is going on in there. I'm measuring right on track...so that's really just my wandering guts and (lack of) abs conspiring to make me look like I'm having twins.
The shirt is a handmedown from my sister, so it's a good 3 years old. Originally from motherhood. Every time she wore it I told her it was super cute, so I was psyched to pull it out of the box she sent over. I'm so glad i can wear her shirts. Her pants are two sizes too small, but thanks to her giant boobs we wear the same size tops.
they're on the edge now, and will get shorter as your pregnancy progresses. get the regulars, have them hemmed.
This... motherhood pants also shrink up a bit so it might make it even worse.
Are they the pants with zippers and adjustable belts on both sides? I loved those. I wish i could still justify wearing them... lol. I always consider it on Thanksgiving, bwah!

If the choices are what you have and hemming 5 inches off regulars, I think you're fine with these, as long as you're wearing flats, as others have said. I'll go a step further though and say that even when cooler weather comes, just tuck them into boots. I would not want that hemming job for non-permanent clothes (I hate hemming pants in particular because they have to match, and the front always needs to be just a skosh higher than the back, and it's a pita.

As someone who has always had too short pants despite all my best efforts (seriously, my mom used to take a tape measure to see if there were slight differences in the same size), I say they look normal. Which means they're too short.
Agree with everyone else about the length. If you think they're too short, they'll bug you later.
Maternity clothes hint: I decided to be proactive (since there are a ton of babies born in the spring here) and get maternity clothes off of Craigslist before others had a chance to snap up the good deals. Seriously, if you can use Craigslist, I so recommend it. For $150 I got 6 dresses, 17 tops, 10 long-sleeved t-shirts, 9 pants for work, 2 swearers, 3 pairs of shorts, 4 pairs of jeans, 3 skirts, misc stuff like a tankini and a pullover, plus she threw in a couple of nursing shirts. Maternity crap is so overpriced for stuff you get to wear for maybe 5 months.
