Went hiking at a wildlife prairie outside of town today. It was HOT, but beautiful.






Then we checked out a winery about a half hour away owned by this awesome German couple. We tasted wines in their kitchen! So pretty out here. I'd love to get a house in the country like this.

Yeah, we went to two birthday parties for babies turning 1.

I went to happy hour Friday night, and that turned into getting home after midnight.

The rest of the weekend was pretty much this:

Music festival on Saturday


Pool, and then firepit and CAH on Sunday

We saw Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean at the Meadowlands Saturday night.

H wanted something sweet Friday night, so he had donuts and a DP and I had a HUGE malt. (Size of shake reflected in size of photo. Sorry.)



Then while at the work reunion on Saturday, H and I visited our old meet-up place. We were so scandalous.

It's such a pretty building. If you've ever seen 12 Monkeys, they filmed some scenes there. (Also bunch of little scenes in House of Cards).

None of the photos are remotely recent, but they did sum up my weekend nicely, with some humor.

Friday night we took the bike out (But not to the mountains.) 2003!~ EEK!!


Saturday we went to my family's lake house just south of Cape Cod.



Acting bored because I'm a bad-ass tuber!


Later on that night we went to a friend's house and hung out by the fire pit.
The picture is me scooping out trash from a fire pit at a campground.


We have made fire!



And Sunday Jay and I ran errands, then enjoyed the day on the deck with wine spritzers and grilled wings.

This about sums up my weekend. Friday night, we hung out for a quiet evening in. Saturday, we went to brunch at my gay bff's place (which was great food, and great times), then we caught up with some other friends, went to a local brewery (with great booze) and then an amazing local burger place. Sunday, we roasted a chicken and had another couple over for dinner. All in all, it was a pretty awesome weekend!
