Oh no ivy!!! I 'liked' the part about feeling the baby move, not about having to cancel your trip. What a bummer!! Where are you considering as plan B?

Probably a Florida or South Carolina beach. Not nearly as exciting, but still the beach and driveable. We really just wanted a relaxing vacation with kayaking and paddle boarding and good food. We'll still get it I think. I'm leaning toward the SC coast at the moment so we can spend some time in Charleston, where we haven' visited in years. Good news is that schools started weeks ago here, and my city seems to drive a lot of beach traffic in FL and SC, so rates will be lower. Still no Caribbean
That trip sounds great! I love Savannah and that part of the coast. We were thinking of Amelia Island for a baby moon/last trip as a family of 3 but the flights for using miles aren't great so we will probably just go back to San Diego. Caribbean would have been amazing but your trip will be a blast! Eat lots of yummy food for me!

ivy, that totally sucks about your vacation! Stupid weather. At least you got your miles refunded. I hope you still have a great trip, wherever you end up. You're just a few days ahead of me, and I'm definitely feeling more confident that what I'm feeling is movement too. Such great reassurance!

I've been too exhausted to play with my online friends this week -- I didn't even post in the Monday check-in or HDBD on GP!
I just finished my work for the day; I worked from home and am so glad I did -- DH got to feel baby boy kick for the first time! It was amazing; I definitely cried. LOL
Last night I didn't take my Unisom and B6, and while I don't feel great this evening, I don't feel horrible, so I think I may be past needing that to not be miserable during the day. I'm 18 weeks today, so it's about time! However, I'm now back to the sleep disturbances I had early in first tri -- on the Unisom I never woke up to pee, or get a drink, or try to get comfortable with my bump (as it's gotten bigger this week my heparin bruises are hurting again)!

belovedbride07, that's great that your morning sickness might be slowing down! I agree, it's about time!
I spoke too soon! And now I'm scared to eat (haven't had breakfast) and my inlaws will be here in about 90 minutes to spend the day with us. At least the babies are kicking (and I now feel confident it's kicks, not gas! LOL) to give me something to smile about!
